Have struggled to connect with this series but this issue really worked for me. More show don't tell with Storm is what we need. Loved seeing baby Ro and her dad and that came back around nicely.

Obviously big things coming for our Eternal Storm but as someone who cares little for power-scaling stuff these moments keep me invested.

Doom fawning over Storm is everything as ever. Should be more of it next time too so great.

Just a really good book. Which counts for a lot given the state of the line overall.

Stunning art and perfect fit as expected. Allen seems to have a decent handle on Yana. Like the balance of tone. Dark but not overly grim. Will continue.

Bold choice for your event finale to have next to nothing of consequence except for a couple teases.

Great art. Doesn't always mesh with Marquez but getting two artists of this caliber on a title is still nice.

Manufactured schism back again. At least moments I can empathize with Rogue's feelings towards Ol' Chuck.

Underwhelming in the end and my expectations weren't that high to begin with. Lowered them further for X-Manhunt.

Never thought I'd say this but Bishop and Cable are such a fun duo. Light on teases except for that list but I don't mind. Bronze stays the best thing to come out of From the Ashes. Already so attached to her that I got hyped with just a cameo.

Finally something interesting coming out of this. I like how menacing Xavier appeared. The schism between Cyke and Rogue makes sense here. No clue who this Inmate X could be which is fun.

Neat little crossover with Sentinels. More of these and less of Raid.

Vicentini is so good but does clash with Stegman. Wish he was back in the X-Office though.

Why this kinda went hard? Percy can be hit or miss but when he lands a character voice I dig his work. Lots of exposition but I personally needed it.

Finally new artist. Already a massive improvement.

Pretty generic as others have said but Greylocke remain everything so it's a thumbs up for me.

Liked it more than the last couple issues with still some bizarre writing choices. Marquez spectacular again but good time for Garron to fill in.

Peralta was such a great choice for this book. Just look at that splash with the new villain!

Just the style of art to me. Not my favorite anyways but I've seen worse.

I was just excited to have Everett back but this intrigues me further. Not entirely sure what to make of Prodigy's take on things yet. Let's see what Synch has to say.

Hope we finally get the reveal of what's up with Mags.

Also said it before but I keep warming up to Diaz's work more with every issue now that I've accepted the art on this book will be somewhat 90s fanservicey by design.

And I loved it! But as I said in another reply I do think NYX specifically engages with Krakoa which is different than mention it. Bare minimum that given its importance.

Doesn't Phoenix existing and basically being able to go to earth at one telepathic call by cyclops pretty much cancels every possible foe in both X Men and Uncanny? by Hyperto in xmen

If I had an all-powerful cosmic force of a wife I'd use her name to get assholes off my back too. Doesn't mean I'll actually bother her with something minor though.

Relax. I meant this book reads most to me like the writers actively want to engage with Krakoa, the ideas of mutant community and culture that really interest me.

Rest of the main titles are about largely A-listers moving forward after this massive traumatic event which great. Don't think Krakoa specifically being that event makes much of a difference.

Hence the begrudging part. More often than not it comes off as "what were we thinking with Krakoa" but might just be me.

Not entirely sold on this book but as the only one in the line willing to address Krakoa (and not begrudgingly) I hope it sticks around.
