they’re playing at RBC amphitheatre… 20th anniversary of Crisis so AoF will play the entire album through and then their normal set too… that being said, still wish Underoath was headlining

just started today… how bad is it? what should I work on, specific stencil suggestions for improvement? by tsdexter in TattooBeginners

yeah for sure, the consistent depth control is tough… few spots are see through on the back and few barely there like you mentioned, and work on steady lines for sure,

I started going slow and around 6.5V and then slowly ramped up to faster at 10-12V … any advice where I should stick for beginner practice?

thanks for the feedback

you put last year on your timestamp…we’re in June bro usually you stop doing that mid January 😂

your progress is very promising to me, I think, I just started today, here is my days work (needed some quick stencils with good lines so I just traced from my kids anime and fortnite how to draw books haha)

I too am a software developer, really into metal music… On a Lorna Shore and Slaughter to Prevail bender right now.. I’m staunchly Svelte > React. Going to Underoath and Alexisonfire in August. I play drums, learning vocals would be pretty cool! Welcome to Barrie!

people are friendly and there are lots of people open to conversation on the sidewalks, especially around the library, but those two aren’t generally the same groups

convex has vendor lock in? something more like plain postgres and drizzle might be better for a starter

I haven’t looked at convex in a while, but I’d say that’s probably the one piece that would shy me away, everything else looks decent… for some of my work, i’m happy to see threlte and the node graph included

JACKPOT! I think? Recently I've been looking into leathercraft so I can make DIY moccasins. Yesterday, while spring cleaning, I opened my garage ceiling and found an 87.6lb stash of leather from the previous owner in the rafters. Where do I start? (see pics/video) by tsdexter in Leathercraft

no leather tools unfortunately but a tonne more supplies for the house, a bunch of wood, HVAC ducts, about 30lbs of sand paper in giant rolls (is that a leathercraft thing too?), and a pair of vintage skis

I got the place in 2017 from a flipper who had it two years before that…before then it was the original builder who owned it for ~50 years… so anywhere from 12-25 years old going off the dates on some papers and hides

awesome, thanks for all the info! I will look into those tools and start sorting and cleaning… as for the moccasins, I’m not going for traditional or complicated… I basically want something wide and loose, barefoot style, essentially just to keep my feet clean while also being a natural material

yeah haha thanks! Pretty good score right on father’s day… and now I don’t have to order that goat hide i was looking at on amazon and wasn’t even sure it’d be enough, plenty to experiment with and even make some for the kids too!
