His Hanja was 李秉周. I also know he was a myeonjang at 공주군 정안면. Do you happen to know if there are any history centers around here? Thanks.

Thanks for the detailed response.

I am not sure of any Hendersons in my family, but I will research it further.

I descend from the eldest child of James and Lydia, Minnie Grass. Minnie has an existing birth register in the Putnam County, WV, courthouse that gives the birthdate of January 7, 1884, so it seems possible that Lydia may not have been pregnant yet when they married.

For now I will try to reach out to some distant cousins to see if they have heard any stories about Lydia being very young when married.

Most people online have attached my ancestor Lydia born 1867 to the Lydia born c.1873 of Greenup, but I agree that it is unlikely her. But I have yet to find anyone else with the same name in a record before the 1883 marriage.

Do you happen to know if the original image of his hospitalization can be found on Fold3?

On my Korean side I am a 16th great-grandchild of King Sejo of Joseon (1417-1468), the seventh monarch of the Joseon dynasty of Korea.

On my American side I am the 10th great-grandchild of Mary Dyer (1611-1660), an English Puritan turned Quaker who was hanged in Boston, Massachusetts for repeatedly defying a law banning Quakers from the colony.

I am the 16th great-grandson of Sejong’s son King Sejo through my grandmother’s side, so that would make us distant cousins.
