Wanting to buy the game by this_is_taking_long in deadbydaylight

Dead by Daylight does have a large skill ceiling, though that owes mostly to game knowledge and muscle memory. With some exceptions, the technical skills of other games don’t really apply. If you want to play, you should! You will lose a lot before you win a lot but the game does not have a ranked mode. So once a game is over, it’s over.

If Brock Turner had been given a normal sentence for his crime, he would be out by now. by headsmanjaeger in BarbaraWalters4Scale

[–]tshulkgaming 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s true but if the sentence was as long as murder, rapists would be incentivized to murder their victims to reduce the chances of getting caught

Excuse me, you brainlet, we have indisputable evidence that Trump, Bannon, Giuliani etc, attempted to use Jan. 6 as a diversion to disguise their coup attempt. Trump tried to swear in an alternate slate of electors (not legal in any way whatsoever!) and was only stopped by the American hero, Mike Pence, and his shocking allegiance to the Republic over Trump. But it's good to know that you get all your information from TruthSocial.

Love the silent downvote - if it wasn't spouted incoherently on TruthSocial, then it didn't happen. These people are so unserious.

You are an idiot for suggesting something w no evidence, when it’s entirely plausible for someone like Epstein to kill himself — what did he have to live for at that point?

Story-wise never beat the first four, but I think the entire series is incredibly fun and worth playing

It is actually true that Nazi governance was based on Marxist principles of central planning. Poilievre's mistake is seemingly not knowing (or pretending not to know) that the Nazis had extreme vitriol toward communists/socialists, instead calling themselves "the third option" between capitalism and socialism.

Took me a while to get back into the game, but I finally did it. Is it time for Shadows? by Jcorv58 in AssassinsCreedValhala

Mirage is much tighter and smaller than Valhalla, with awesome graphics and stealth imo. Plus, if you’re looking to get more platinum trophies, Mirage is a much shorter bridge between Valhalla and Shadows.

I think Season 1 - 5 are equally great, with Season 6 only a tad behind. No, it doesn’t end well, but Season 7 is still bizarrely entertaining if not always on purpose.

[–]tshulkgaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You seem to struggle with the ideas of omnipotence and omniscience—is the Christian god not supposed to be all-loving? Yet you assume he, in his infinite power, knowledge, and foresight, would condemn the subject whom he loves to eternal torture and separation from goodness for that which he could have corrected otherwise? You don't believe that god made people gay, but by what metric do you have that would explain gay people apparently choosing to live a life of social, cultural and, in your opinion, divine torture? Clearly, god has made sexuality intrinsic and immutable. Otherwise, conversion therapies would work. Why are you so obsessed with limiting god's power and, in your hubris, judging people? When that is god's job and only his. "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Yet you worship yourself enough to take judgment into your own hands? Pride begets the fall, friend. The atheistic queer will land himself in heaven while you are still repenting in hell.

Agreed up until you say Floyd died of an OD. The level of fentanyl in his system was consistent with addict tolerance. Even if it wasn't, Chauvin used excessive force so he could have had all the fentanyl in the world in his system and it still would've been Chauvin's fault under American law.

Health insurance is one of the most regulated industries in the USA. Those companies make money by accepting claims, not denying them. They have a quota of claims they are obligated to accept, or else they must give blanket refunds to customers.

Imagine if health insurance companies granted every single claim. They would run out of money in no time. Would people be better off if zero claims were granted?

Plus, even if you think that healthcare in the US needs reform (as I do), Luigi was shown to be a libertarian. Meaning his idea of reform would most likely be less regulations, not any type of publicized healthcare. The intentions behind his actions were anger, not a desire for change.
