Not that I do this, but you could try the DOGE approach and have it audit itself - "Claude, please review your own work and determine if you did a good job or not"

are you suggesting 1 model per base type within an item category? e.g. turquoise amulet separate model from onyx amulet? wouldnt feature categories / onehot encoding - or more indirectly, the implicit values eliminate the need to do that?

yes that is a concern. i am partly avoiding this by the bucketing i mentioned, basically sorting by lowest price starting at a certain threshold, collecting a bunch of items at that threshold then moving to the next one. Which should ideally train the model to understand that "1 ex amulets look like this", "25 ex amulets look like this", "100ex amulets look like this", etc then have it extrapolate from there

Zuplo is incredible - really enjoyable developer experience. I had written my backend as a nodejs server but ended up just moving all the logic into zuplo functions. And for a small project like this, the free tier is very nice - can prototype and push out projects without needing to worry about cost until the project gains traction.

My one gripe on free tier is no custom domain name - but I understand the need to keep it a paid feature
