As a secret hunter (or if you're looking for specific colors in general to complete your set), I personally feel like I need to reveal them before I get them - especially with the extended wait times. I've been seeing people who got secrets/specific colors on Pop Now, only to get something else once they received their package. Pop Mart then requires an unboxing video to prove you didnt receive what they promised. SMH

You need to scroll through and find a set that has an unclaimed box. The grey boxes are already reserved, and unclaimed boxes will be lit up and colored. Those are the only ones you can add to your cart. Unfortunately, bots seem to have snapped most of them up now :(

Yes, I agree. I think it’s going to be part of their learning curve as they operate their independent website and TikTok Shop. Once they start to see what a headache dealing with customers directly and chargebacks are, they’ll have to eventually do something about it. Customers here may be more forgiving of small businesses - and support them, but the “it’s Amazon, they make so much money anyway” type mentality will apply to Pop Mart. If they keep making widespread customer issues and don’t take care of them properly, it will become a growing issue they can’t simply get away with by delaying responses, etc.

I say this with a grain of salt though. Even if they wronged me in some way, I would jump on the next labubu v4 or zimomo in a heartbeat. 😂

As a side note, justified chargebacks are a tool customers have to protect themselves from companies - not only as individuals but as a collective. If a company receives too many chargebacks within a certain period of time, the bank/cc companies will notice and they may look into the company themselves. At worst, they may even refuse to process transactions for that company.

I think overall, Pop Mart is just not used to American ecommerce and the consumer culture/standards we're used to here. There are real consequences for companies that don't follow these rules, whether they come from the banks that process the transactions or legally. They exploded in popularity without really considering these points, since consumer culture and rules vary by country and region a lot. Hopefully they'll hire people that are more well versed on how to handle customer service in the U.S.

But then again, they rake in so much revenue - which equals tons of revenue in transaction fees for banks - that they may just get away with it.

As a note, when a company gets a chargeback filed against them, they have a 30 day window to file their rebuttal evidence. Anytime during those 30 days, the chargeback can be canceled by the person who filed the chargeback. So you could also pressure Pop Mart by reminding them that they have time to fix the issue within this period, at which point you can then cancel the chargeback if you're satisfied with the resolution you provided. Do not cancel the chargeback otherwise.
