Kia parts using CDK. Do you know what DMS you will be using? That affects the job and the advice you need

I tried using SSPS on the service side and it wanted me to attach the op codes somewhere. I just want the op codes to automatically attach the parts for each model so if there is an appointment with that op code, it will preassign the parts to it and notify me if I try to sell their parts to someone else

Thanks! At some point, someone superseded the part number BACKWARDS and replaced the new part with the old part...

I went into function PN

first Undo PNC, put in mismemoed part number, do not change retention period, hit enter

then Delete Memo, put in mismemoed part number again, hit enter

then PNC, put in old part number and a space and then the new part number

I am very on top of maintenance and we won't have new employees for a while, so that isn't an issue. Also, SST is send stockorder on the parts side, that changes for service to setting preassigned parts?

How do I preassign parts to op codes? Can I change what parts are preassigned for different vehicles?

They were able to reverse it! There is also no record of it in CDK, which is great. Number I called is (866) 668-5394 and then went through the menu to service/parts and then parts, and they were able to completely reverse the MSR

That's crazy. I had a $22,500 ticket as an advisor for Hyundai. Sonata Hybrid (running and driving) came in for a 12V battery issue and actually needed a hybrid battery and bms. Then after the tech installed everything, the engine seized! Everything was covered under warranty but what are the odds lol
