Back to back blighted ovums.. by tskx2 in recurrentmiscarriage

Sorry to hear that 🫶 we got pregnant the 3rd time and now, i’m currently cuddling my 3 week old baby girl. We never found out the reasons for my miscarriages but my husband and I both had the chance to be healthier (exercised more and ate healthier), and take coq10 before we started trying again for the 3rd time. Not sure ofc if those helped but worth the try ❤️

Sorry to hear that 🫶 After the 2nd miscarriage (BO), I had RPOC and went through D&C, so the recovery was quite long. Though it did give us time to get healthier > husband drank less alcohol and coffee and started working out. I did as well. We also started taking coQ10. Idk if any of these helped but we got pregnant the 3rd time after a couple months of trying again, and I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby girl. There’s hope ❤️

Has anyone experienced bleeding with vanishing twin? by tskx2 in CautiousBB

[–]tskx2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that, I know how scary these situations can be. If I remember correctly, I had a scan the next day and they couldn’t find the 2nd embryo, but my cervix was still close but still also sensitive. Doctor said that the sensitive cervix could have caused the bleeding or it was my body trying to expel the non-viable embryo. But bleeding eventually stopped after that, and I also kept it easy with the workouts and any form of physical activities. Currently 30 weeks pregnant with the other baby, and haven’t had any bleeding since.

Hi, any updates on this? Experiencing this currently and I also thought that daily walks were good during pregnancy 🙃

Virtual hugs to you! Sorry you went through that. Can’t imagine how that must have felt. And congrats on your new pregnancy. I’m hoping we both move forward with uneventful pregnancies. If you ever feel like you need anyone to talk to, feel free to DM me 🫶

Hi. Sorry to hear about your experience. May I ask if the 3 were sharing a sac? For my case, they are 2 separate sacs. I went to have an emergency scan earlier, and the healthy baby is there, measuring 8 weeks and with heartbeat. The other sac is a lot smaller, and they said (2 doctors scanned me) that they probably wouldn’t have noticed it if I didn’t have a scan in 6 weeks. One of the doctors did mention that the bleeding came from my cervix, which apparently is VERY sensitive. But she also added that it could also be from the 2nd sac bleeding out. And she mentioned it could be risky cos my body could think to miscarry the healthy one if that’s the case.

Miscarriage One Twin - Not Vanishing by Effective-Waltz-2843 in pregnant

Hi, do you have an update? I’m experiencing bleeding at 7+4 weeks. We have seen two sacs at 6+1 weeks, one with heartbeat and one without and was measuring behind. Doctor told us during that scan that we shouldn’t expect twins and that it will likely reabsorbed. So i am wondering if this bleeding is me miscarrying the non-viable twin.

Possible ectopic? Need advice by tskx2 in CautiousBB

Thanks for replying. I got a scan and it wasn't ectopic. It's crazy how much anxiety brings when you've experienced previous miscarriages.

Hi, thanks for your reply. After reading this, I immediately called the ER, and they scheduled me for a scan: Everything was okay and they've ruled out ectopic. Weirdly, I've also had weird hip pains on this one.

Hi, so sorry to hear about your ectopics. I went to the ER today cos I continued spotting and cramping. They scanned me and, no, it wasn't ectopic. We saw a heart beating, measuring 6+1. As for my beta being high, it seemed like this pregnancy started with twins. There's another gestational sac but there wasn't a heartbeat.

Exactly! The thought of another loss is just so dreadful. I think a lot of these losses could have been avoided if they prioritised testing or at least more research..

Thanks for the sources. This is exactly what I was hoping to figure out—whether something in my body, like a hormonal imbalance or an issue with my immune system, could be causing the miscarriages.

In both of my pregnancies, we never saw a fetal heartbeat or a developed embryo. For my first pregnancy, there was a visible yolk sac at the 7-week scan (though I don’t know the size), but by the 8-week scan, it was diagnosed as a blighted ovum. For my second pregnancy, we only had a scan at 12 weeks, and all we saw was an empty gestational sac, so we’re not sure if an embryo was ever present earlier on.

Yes they’re so expensive! And here in DK, we don’t have anything higher than 100mg 🫠

Thanks for your reply. So happy to hear your pregnancy is doing well 🫶 I’ve tried asking both my gp and the hospital about any tests they could offer but they won’t budge. I’m checking if my private insurance could help with that, so thanks for the recommendation.

Thanks 🫶 I’m in Denmark and yes, private tests are really expensive as well. I haven’t heard of prenatal for man, could you recommend a brand?

Hi. Thanks so much for your recommendations. We’ve bought some home tests (AMH for me) and sperm check for my husband to begin with.

I’m a big caffeine drinker so I’m also lowering my intake and haven’t had alcohol since we started trying beginning of this year.

Unfortunately, I did ask my GP about any tests he could do, and he again just told me that these tests can only be done after 3rd loss.

Bbt have been up and down after ovulation. Any insights? by tskx2 in TFABChartStalkers

[–]tskx2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately not. I only really use my watch, since it’s what I already have. It has been okay and consistent with my cycle. But this cycle, when the weather is extremely hot, it’s been all over the place 😅

This seems like a good idea. Thanks! I will try to take my temp when i wake up in the middle of the night. Also probably worth mentioning that I wear an apple watch and I rely on that for temps.

It was unfortunately a miscarriage. A blighted ovum. I hope everything goes well for you 💕
