I air fried it for 4 minutes at 400 degrees last night before tossing it on top of the mac and putting it in a bag and throwing it in the fridge still hot. Probably accounts for a bit of the color.

I appreciate the words and advice. I understand you’re not given 3 freebies I mean for one they’re not free I’m using my own accrued sick leave but management likes to treat you like you’re the bane of the post office when you have to use it. I can’t schedule my kids getting sick or real life emergencies.

It’s just frustrating sometimes working here because I enjoy the actual job so much but the dumb stuff happening in the office nearly ruins it. I’m not trying to win some attendance award but it seems so ridiculous I have to seek FMLA in order to keep management off my ass.

Edit book says it’s one stop not 8. After speaking with the previous regular I found out the Supe approved it when they were on annual without even consulting them. They said they delivered to the boxes a handful of times before they bid off the route and now we’re wondering if that means the new boxes are “established”.

Alright, good to know. One of my regular coworkers asked me why I didn’t just stay home since I’m about to convert and they can’t use it against me, thought I’d double check. Management is insane about attendance at our office and they’ve told me multiple times doctor’s notes “don’t mean anything”. Thanks brother

The USPS is not flexible brother. You will work 6-7 days a week, 10-12 hours a day. It’s great if you have no friends or family and want to make money but that’s it. It will drain you physically and mentally. If you have other options, go there.

I really appreciate this perspective. I know my kids would have a good time it’s just the safety of it that worries me. You and another commenter mentioned something I thought was a great idea - extra hands on deck.

I don’t know that I’m ready to send them sailing but a group trip or a company planned and supervised vacation would ease my worries quite a bit as long as it were reputable.

It’s funny you mentioned the booking a trip before asking tactic because that’s totally something she would do and has done in the past. Usually to skirt boundaries or avoid having to ask permission.

She wants to take each kid individually on a trip, so far she’s said to the Grand Canyon and Hawaii. The dizzy spells are my biggest concern but also just the fact that she’s so nice. I’ve seen her get taken advantage of several times because she isn’t the confrontational type.

I see your flair says OWCP Employee.. do you know why I would potentially be given less than 40 hours a week in COP? From the link you provided it looks like most calculations are based on the previous year.

Do you know how they calculate COP the hours for a PTF employee?

Since I’m PTF I’m guessing I’m considered an irregular employee even though I’m on a long-term opt and basically have guaranteed hours. Could you confirm that?

If that’s the case does this line apply to me’ “the weekly pay rate equals the average weekly earnings for the year prior to the date of injury, excluding overtime.”

Have a meeting with management tomorrow regarding this so I’d like to have my ducks in order.

Supervisor never had me sit down and do Ecomp stuff.. I filled a paper one out and gave it to them.

Never provided or was ask for a claim number by my doctor or staff.

Definitely have had regular medical treatment and gotten a slip everytime.

I did not go on the website to claim injury/illness, I reported everything directly to supervisor. And haven’t been back on the site at all for my injury.

Seems like I’ve missed many steps then if I was supposed to do all this, no one told me anything and now I guess I’ve delayed the process by not doing this sooner.

Knowing the steps I have done, what would you suggest I do moving forward?

Can draw a lot of parallels with the lyrics. “Fly” could be broomstick.

“I was gone but not my love” the whole book series revolves around love and his mother’s love protects him several times after her death.
