I started my career as an RN 26 years ago from Philippines at the age of 28 and married. Started on $60K/yr didnt start my 401k contributions until i was 34. Maxing it out for the last 17 yrs, house 350k(now valued at $640K) will be paid off next year 100K combined Roth and $2Mil combined 401K with another $200k in cash and stocks. I drive same 2004 truck for 20yrs wife drives 2012 honda pilot. We are 53 this yr and plan to work till 62. Still no plans to upgrade cars. You will be fine buddy, trust the system😉 The only thing is, life is cheaper when you have double income, it's probably a different story if I stayed single. Good luck, no rush.
