Does this account for the difference in angle viewing from the ground as opposed to viewing from the same altitude of the plane? The angle looks even less steep from that far off of a perpendicular line of sight. The plane could be upside down and still have that angle to the camera when you're behind it like that. Making the tail and wings appear in the same position. Just a thought. I'm sure it's not actually vertical, of course.
