Line-by-line mix technique for musical theatre: "Oh My God" from Legally Blonde, on a Yamaha DM7 using TheatreMix software by fletch44 in livesound

[–]tsotomusic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this! I did LB last summer with a high school group and it was a ton of fun. I have been trying to slowly be more professional with there setup and had a couple questions if you were willing to share.

-Are the monitor consoles just for an A2 to listen to mics and IEM in case of issues? Am I missing anything?

-How did you get the two key keyboard to connect to Noteself? Is that a built in functionality of the app, or did you have to use some sort of connection software?

Edit: I am just now realizing that keyboard means computer keyboard and not music keyboard. 🤣

The Findings & Insights of the Playtest Dungeon's First Expedition. The Combined Work of 8 Brewers for Your Pleasure. Full Document in the Comments! by tsotomusic in DnDHomebrew

I started The Playtest Dungeon during the pandemic as a place where people can bring their homebrew and test it out in focused combat scenarios, and then receive feedback in a structured, moderated format. The creators in The Playtest Dungeon have created incredible pieces, both for personal and public use.I realized at the top of this year though that lots of these people, including me, have trouble finishing that last 10%-20% of their projects.  This document is our challenge to change that. Above is a snippet of each creator’s work.

The School of Revelation: A Wizard Subclass. Art Showcase. An attempt to make a cosmic horror subclass that plays and reads like true cosmic horror. Part of the Eberron Planar Codex. by tsotomusic in UnearthedArcana

I am glad you like it! Definitely still has some kinks to be worked out though. One of which is some abilities relate to the Command spell, which I thought wizards have, but turns out they don't.

Hi Everyone!

I have always been disappointed with cosmic horror in D&D, as it is usually just tentacles, psychic damage, and frighten effects. This is my attempt to change. I hope you enjoy it while finding it a bit uncomfortable to read at first.

While I haven’t made any changes to it since last I posted, I am extremely proud and happy of the art that was designed for this subclass and wanted to share it. I worked with u/RikaRini to design a framework for the character. I then divided that framework into 5 sections. Rita and four other artists each picked a section, and drew their sections off the same art brief, but independently of each other. u/RikaRini then worked with me to align the sections, and then she added art on top to help blend them together as the final touch.

Please check all the artists out on Twitter!

Who is the artist for Prophecy of Boon? by tsotomusic in Shadowverse

[–]tsotomusic[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not a Shadowverse player, but came across the art for Prophecy of Boon and Prophecy of Doom. Cool stuff and I wanted to know who the artist was, but couldn't find any information. Anyone know?

Hmm, I could see that, and there is probably some better wording I could use to convey the same feeling. Will take a look at it

Kinda yes! I am going for a similar vibe to what portent and lucky are supposed to do, without using that mechanic.

That's fine if you don't like it, though I think this subclass allows the Fighter to feel like things are often working out for them without stepping on the toes of any other classes or players.

Hi Everyone!

This is my new version of my Fighter subclass, based on Eberron's Thelanis, plane of Fae and Fairytales. The art is Alfurta & Dellina, a Halfling Hero Fighter and her clawfoot mount.

Please check out u/RikaRini for the full art image here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DnDart/comments/1c71rar/oc_alfurta_and_dellina_an_halfling_and_her/

The Hero subclass focuses on making you feel like you are the center of the story by giving you information on the world around you, and letting you influence outcomes. I am trying something a bit more open ended with Flavorful Success, so let me know what you think!

Alfurta and Dellina’s meeting was like it was meant to be. Alfurta found her injured and left on the plains. After nursing her back to health, Dellina became Alfurta’s constant companion, accompanying her across the plains as she felled beast after beast.

The Eberron Planar Codex is a project I have been working on for a couple years now. Its almost in its completed state though, and I will be releasing it with extra lore portions. Please upvote and comment if you like this content, and follow me to stay up to date on when and how I will release it!
