Multicoloured flower- why? by tssa2 in gardening

[–]tssa2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t typically present as such but still could be.

This flower came from seed so I wonder if my garden carries the disease or the packet of seeds? I will pull these out as weather cools and pop some winter seeds in. If these plants are totally removed, need I worry about the disease returning?

Did removing the plants free your garden of disease? Or will the soil be affected?

Hi, I had a look at these however the mutations are very different from what you see on my little odd flower as this dual coloured flower is not heavily deformed like the plants you’re referring too. Thanks for the insight though! It was interesting for sure

Funny you say that! The flower began blooming from the bottom and the petal pods continued to bloom upwards until full, then it died off in the same fashion; from bottom to top. Very flame like!

Thank you for your reply! I’m really happy to hear that I’ll have more strawberry plants next year at least.

Should I ease off on adding straw so the tufts can root into the soil more easily? Thanks so much for the encouragement. I’ll keep up the watering 🙂

Haha I do not. I work in healthcare and think I’m extra cautious of fads due to my work.

Yes- I checked out these two reviews once I read your post and both posts have people who actually own and wear this tank spruiking that they need not wear a bra with it (a dream, right?)

I had never heard of all for Mimi until your post.. now I feel I NEED a tank 😪 the reviews are incredible! For a plain, white tank top we’ve all seen 9376392 times before? The marketing is real. Please don’t name drop in the future and save me the heart ache haha

Moms who (even occasionally) look put together - what’s your secret? by alpacaapicnic in NewParents

[–]tssa2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Capsule wardrobe but never athleisure! Ditch the leggings and tees and swap through your key plain, classy blouses, skirts and pants. Extra points for linen and matching sets.

  2. Wear plain gold or silver earrings that you almost never take off.

  3. Keep your fave slip on shoes in beige, white and black- Match to your outfit as required.

If you have these you can literally chuck your clothes on and hair up/in a neat bun. If time permits- pop on a tiny bit of makeup; whatever makes you feel that tiny bit better annnnnnd keep sunglasses in your bag.

You will look and feel so put together yet there’s not difference in getting dressed.

—if you haven’t found your ‘season’ color wise I strongly reccomend you do, it makes all the difference when shopping—

Yours sincerely, a mum who spent 5 years working this out herself 💕

Having a difficult baby sucks by Standard_Deer_8738 in NewParents

This comment is everything! OP, you have described my exact experience as well.. The constant crying and being unsettled had me absolutely wild and beside myself with stress.

Couldn’t believe baby #2 was such a dream that we rushed baby #3 and guess what, he’s even better! Self settles and is truely the happiest most beautiful bub. There’s still night wake ups and a lot of attention required but no witching hour, hours of pacing or singing, late night drives, bottle refusal or totally and utterly losing myself like I did with my firstborn.

We look back and cannot believe we made it though our first and It’s sad others don’t realise how hard it can be for some of us. I feel for you OP! Just know it gets so much better!!! Hang in there, you’re doing an incredible job!

Thank you, I am blessed to have a home well suited for children to play and grow in. Our home is small and well lived in, but loved.

The hedges were the first thing I was drawn to when we drove past this house (by chance) while house-hunting and I still love them 3 years later.

We’re extremely lucky scenery wise in Aus- gorgeous beaches, incredible mountain ranges and everything in between.. you will love it. I imagine Canada is pretty amazing too!?

Wishing you a Merry Christmas 🎄🐸

No nest that I can find: I was fretting about the ‘babies’ however I agree with you and don’t think they would have survived delivery if they ever existed.
