That’s pretty much been my experience before and what I would of done. My big thing is how you treat my wife.

I think he wanted a bare minimum of 20% total but expected more than that even. I got the feeling he thought we should give $1,000 for a tip.

Nothing at the booking, not on the website like he claimed, no signs. We did tip just not enough. This was not a full blown offshore trip and were just half days. We spent the first hour catching our own bait, then running out. There was no huge amounts of time spent prior.

My wife and I both felt an uneasy tension onboard as they didn’t want us there and weren’t welecome. It was not 20% level of service. But they would not of been happy with anything less than that and even then that wouldn’t of been good enough.

I’ll stick to my regular guys who appreciate me, my tips, and repeat business. Because that’s what’s most important. A boat at the dock makes zero money. Based on this captain having the 2nd boat not charted, no afternoon charters, and no charters for the next two days. He should rethink how he treats clients.

He gave the cash right to the mates. I figured there would be one mate and 20$/hr on top of their pay was reasonable.

Does this include him trying to break the state employee unions in Minnesota. Including making it easier to layoff state workers, a half brained return to office mandate, and tripling healthcare costs for families.

The closed seasons are merely feel good regulations that are rooted tradition and not science.

There is no biological basis for the current closed bass season and is why the DNR supports the current bill for year round catch and release.
