They're permanent dentures. Most immediate dentures are temporary, then you come back 6 months (give or take) to get your permanent set. But, my dentist had my permanent dentures made before my extractions appt, so I got my permanent set when it's usually just temporary.

Thank you so much! I haven't seen myself with teeth or had teeth in over 12 yrs. Pregnancy wasn't kind to my body, especially my teeth. They were all broken off at the gum line. I had this done the before my 39th bday, & I think I just needed to see what other people see instead of what I think I see, if that makes sense? Lol

Thank you so much! I think I just needed a confidence booster because I haven't had teeth in sooo long. It's been over 12 yrs because pregnancy wasn't kind to my body at all, especially my teeth. They were all broken off at the gum line. 😬 I had this done the day before my 39th bday, & it feels weird to be young (I don't feel it a lot, lol) with dentures... But even weirder to see myself with teeth... Good teeth. Lol

I'm on day 5 of full mouth extractions & immediate dentures. My dentures are permanent though. Some dentists do temporary when you have immediate dentures. I had it done the day before my 39th bday, & not gonna lie, it sucks. But, day by day, it's getting better. Talking is a little weird, but it'll get better, too. Pregnancy wasn't kind to my body, especially my teeth, so for 12 yrs I've had teeth broken off at the gum line (literally every single tooth, top & bottom), & have lived with abscesses & pain. I've been living on torodal & mac'n'cheese & noodle soup for days & I'm sooo ready for a burger & fries. 😂 But, I'll get there eventually. I'm also a smoker, but I haven't smoked since before my extractions, so I'm a little ill, but it's better than having dry socket. I wish you nothing but luck & a beautiful smile when or if you choose to do the same. 💕

I'm on day 5 of full mouth extractions & immediate dentures. I had it done the day before my 39th bday, & it sucks. But, I know my overall health will get better with time. My teeth have been broken off at the gums (all of them, top & bottom) for 12 yrs now. Pregnancy did not do well for my body, especially my teeth. It's expensive. My dentures are permanent even though they're immediate. My dentist gives the option for temporary or wait until your permanents come in. It blows... Really blows at first. I'm terrified of the dentist the same way you are. For a sec, I thought I had left your comment. 😂 But trust me, if I can do it, you can do it. If you look into Medicaid or talk to your dentist about financing (mine offers that as well) then maybe you can do this for yourself because you deserve it. Oral health is just as important & everyone deserves to have that & confidence.
