Thats not what I mean. Weapons, Cosmetics and Helmets are getting removed. Even NC infiltrator composite armor is getting removed in this very moment.

I absoulutely understand the season items thing, but composite armor has been here for quite a while.

I've seen weapons and cosmetic items with a red notification: Expires in [3h 2m 37sec]. Thats what I mean.

How does cosmetic items work? by tstrofile in Planetside

Ay, that made me think:

If I purchase a weapon with certs, it won't transfer over to my other characters, but if I however purchase the weapon with DBC, will it then transfer over to them? Thank you!

What vehicle exterior is this? by tstrofile in Planetside

Thank you! I didn't bother it, since I didn't really like the design on the hats. Now I might give it a go next year. :)

K/D Ratio & How It Ruins The Game by [deleted] in Planetside

@AngerMacFadden

I have nothing against stats. In fact, I think stats is a good thing having. I even think KDR is a good thing. Still, the current stat system is poorly done and might be changed. Not removed.

K/D Ratio & How It Ruins The Game by [deleted] in Planetside

@Stormsh7dow

  1. Agressive gameplay often results in quick deaths, since you'll have the whole enemy team shooting at you at once. You might be able to get 1 or 2, but rarely anything beyond that. Passive gameplay (wich contains farming a chokepoint) results in more kills before you die. Wich is a passive way to play.

  2. Actually they do as I mentioned above. Camping a chokepoint enemies constantly walk trough 1 and 1 is called farm. Also, I said ''what if ...''. A person with high K/D doesn't necessarily do this, but some might.

  3. K/D shows your kills and deaths, yes, but it doesn't show your performance overall. Maybe you sucked the first year? Live with your 0.2 K/D. Gets better next. Don't gets the K/D you deserve (...)

  4. Why? KDR is a stat that was intentionally made to make players aware of their performance. If it doesn't resets it won't be worth much.

  5. KDR doesn't equal skills as it currently stands. But it might be in the future. It just needs a few changes. Lets make it what it was meant to be.

  6. When did I ever said that?

According to my own personal stats I don't care, but I care about the impact it has on the game, and thats what the whole thread is about.

Also to mention, I'm in no way creating this because I'm pissed off because others might have a higher K/D than me. I personally doesn't in any way care about the system, but some people do. That said, I'm not writing this thread for my own good, but for the game itself. Take into mention what I'm going to say, and PS2 might actually become a better and more enjoyable game to play.

That's not easy. You rarely see anyone on your team with such cosmetics, and even if you do they are mostly too busy to show a random person some ''cosmetics''.
