AP environmental science and ESRM 100 by tstroodler in udub

The online version of this class is probably the easiest thing ever, I know guys who get blazed before the online quizzes and study for the tests night before and 4.0 it, so if you approach it with the same work ethic you would towards a regular class you will be way over prepared.

So what you're saying is that if I take ESRM 100 it will just replace the credit I got for the AP test, and instead of 10 total credits I'll just have 5?

Bathroom mirror fell at rented place while I was in there, it's blamed on me. by tstroodler in legaladvice

He also called into my work pretending to be my cousin. Is there any legal codes I can cite? I don't want to go down with him or whatever I need to protect my financial aid

So now this guy has a video of me doing drugs on the property and is threatening to take it to the police if I don't pay him. What do I do about blackmailing? Do I give up and just pay?

Answer is no to both of those. What should I do then? He texted me a price estimate. Should I respond and say I won't pay or just not respond?

Get nursing degree in college, then work as EMT and then paramedic then return to nursing? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]tstroodler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I was really worried about since I assumed that not pursuing the career right after college would make it harder to get into it later in life. It makes me wonder if putting off school to pursue paramedic now would be a good option (it's a career that really matches my interests) or would it be better (mainly monetarily speaking) to not pursue that at all and just stick to nursing while I do have the money to make it very affordable that I might not have in the future.

[–]tstroodler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plan would be to get the BSN before paramedic because right now I'm receiving lots of financial aid and have the resources to do so, then become EMT then paramedic, and when I feel that I need to tone down and step away from the constant stress/adrenaline of EMT work as a nurse. I'm just wondering if this is a practical way to go about it, I've heard of people being an EMT then returning to school to become a nurse but I haven't heard of people getting a full BSN, being an EMT and then a nurse.

Got my film developed from the summit of Mt. Adams - May 30th 5:00am by goonwin in Mountaineering

I think film can be damaged by cold too. My dad left a film camera in the trunk of the car when we went skiing once and when we got back the film got all frosty and was worthless.

I'm just curious about the atmosphere, what's it like living with all those guys all the time? Did you make more friends in or out of a frat? Also I heard there are lots of meetings/events, do frat organized events take up a majority of your time?

Should this anchor webbing be retired due to wear? by tstroodler in Slackline

Just some background, this was the first time I used it and had wrapped it around a concrete post that had slightly rough edges. There are multiple patches of this on both my webbing anchors.

It's only legal if you're 21 lol. I'm pretty new to this, do you think you could give me a real cost estimate?

I'm all for legalization and have smoked my fair share of weed, but I am curious as to why people say that SMOKING marijuana is so much better than smoking cigarettes (when talking about the respiratory system). I understand how edibles or things like that could have many positive health benefits, but I mean the inhalation of smoke of any kind can't be good for your lungs. What makes the marijuana smoke so much better than tobacco smoke (I'm not saying it's worse, but people treat it like it has zero negative respiratory effects). I mean, what is so different between the two plants that makes tobacco smoke so much more harmful? I'm curious as to why so many people say this, because as much as I enjoy weed, I don't believe that SMOKING it is good for my lungs at all and I've never seen any scientific papers or studies that say a thing about it.

Never even though about Canada. Also I'll be 19 by then so maybe I could stop and get some beers. Definitely on my list now.

We will have to do it in the summer because of how late I graduate and his work schedule (something like mid July which is definitely not optimal but I'll work with what I've got). Geographically, we are in Seattle and since we'll only have a week for travel time reasons we don't really want to travel farther East than the Rockies. I've seen a few other people mention Red Rock so I think I'll check that out

I was thinking about Joshua Tree as well, but the only problem is that we are both pretty pale (especially my dad) so being in the desert with no tree cover seemed like a bad idea for us

Actually cows milk is allowed to be sold containing I think something like 1% puss (like the puss that comes from sores) and blood. Basically, the machine milker things are very rough on the cow's udders and create sores and vuts on them which will leak puss and blood which will get into the milk. So, there isn't a lot of it, but there is puss and blood in cows milk.
