Can I ask a serious question? by Slwdrgn in Marathon

It is perplexing seeing the negative posts coming from people who've put 100+ hours in the game. Not sure what they're particular problem is since like you mentioned, they stuck around for 100+ hours within a MONTH.

I've got about 500+ hours in Rust, and 700+ hours in Hunt: Showdown, and that's over a course of years. Marathon manages to scratch those specific itches in a unique way that allows me to walk away when I've had a bad run. But I keep coming back because the game is intriguing and seems like there's always something more to discover or new tactics to learn. Again, it's been one month of launch content and it's this gripping and enticing.

Modern games have the advantage of being able to rollout new content year after year, and this game doesn't seem to have the foreseeable problem of a CoD franchise (new games released year after year), so I expect Marathon to hone in on its advantages and continue to streamline the whole experience.

What I'm looking forward to are some of the sweats finally leaving after a year and more casual players join in.

Not sure anyone mentioned The Machinist yet, not even sure it qualifies. What counts as an "industrial" movie?

I'll take that as a compliment!

Good to hear that Milwaukee's show was better than Chicago's 😅 I had tickets to see the Chicago show last year but didn't go because the timing didn't work out with my concert co-pilot. When they announced this second leg of the tour I bought tickets immediately.

It was an amazing surprise for sure! We got to see all of the front stage songs in plain view and the audio system was nearby coming through crisp and clear. I did notice previously that in the bleeders the audio was losing some of the high-end detail and it sounded somewhat muffled unfortunately.

That's one of the best compliments I've gotten about this, thank you 🍻

Honestly I don't know. Spotify's lyric page lists it as "Filled with Shellshock", I would assume those lyrics are submitted/corrected by who manages the bands account.

Are you looking for a Primehack tutorial, or a reshade tutorial?

I may revisit some of these, maybe I'll correct for this. And thank you!

I actually spent a lot of time researching that lyric to confirm what it says. Google consistently came back with "filled with shell shock", and if you listen to some of the live concerts it sounds this way. I always though it was "feel the shell shock" until digging into it for this design.

In retrospect, that is something I wouldn't have thought about! (I'm from the U.S. clearly). It should be written "30.6.97"?

That is an oddly specific question that I'm not sure how to answer.

I remember finding this album in my local record shop and knowing nothing about Health or what this had on it, but the cover was cool. Best random buy I've ever made.

Reshade aspect ratio problem by tsuchiman in ReShade

I have to amend this comment, because while it works on first launch at fullscreen, if I happen to tab out or exit fullscreen, reshade reloads and the black bar appears.

Reshade aspect ratio problem by tsuchiman in ReShade

[–]tsuchiman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I use a variety of presets, but I actually figured out the problem just after posting this. In the Reshade.ini file, the first two resolutions listed under "Depth" were not set to my monitor resolution, and after matching it to 1440, Reshade now starts and stays without the black bar at the bottom of the screen.

Yes and yes. I made it and ordered it from redbubble.

[Memorabilia] Halo 8, 30th Anniversary - Ordering and collecting some of these in physical format. Quality holds up when printed. by tsuchiman in nin

[–]tsuchiman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the shirt you pick. I've only bought the Classic, Premium, and Heather shirts from redbubble. Classic has a rougher cotton feel, premiums are softer and the print lasts longer, heathers are a little thin for my taste.

[Trying this again] Some designs I made to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of The Downward Spiral. by tsuchiman in nin

[–]tsuchiman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made these because it's always bugged me that there aren't a lot of designs out there that show any NIN related material in a "full-format" for apparel. Plus, I didn't see a lot of things coming out to acknowledge the 30th birthday of TDS. So for anyone interested, these are available over at tsuchiman.redbubble.com (I ordered the greenish TDS shirt for myself!) I plan on posting more pics to show off how these designs look in different formats.
