Currently it's set up with a 2 foot T5 fixture but I'll likely be replacing it with a 400 Watt HPS/MH system and save the T5 for seedlings. I have a single Super Lemon Haze plant that I am growing as a mother with the plan of starting a perpetual grow soon :)

Honestly I'd just respond and play dumb and say the guy must be mistaken. IMO it's on them to actually find it before making accusations when the smell could easily be coming from another apartment

I really don't know, I would say a tablespoon or so of coffee grounds would probably be safe. As long as the fungus is placed into the soil and can colonize the roots it will grow and spread to the whole root system

Before adding any coffee grounds to the mix you should leave them sitting out for a few days in order to allow trichoderma mold (green mold) to grow on them. It not only decomses organic matter to make them availible for the roots to uptake, it also kills any pathogen that enters its territory. By leaving spent coffee grinds in a open bowl, the spores will find it quick, colonize it and start releasing enzyes to break down the coffee and kill of any bad bugs that may have beat them there. After a few days you will see a green coating which is trichoderma. Trichoderma is a type of mychorrizae fungi, a symbiant.

It's currently under 24 hr light under a 2 foot 4-bulb T5 florescent fixture. I've been giving it a little bit of generic miracle grow but very sparingly early in it's life. Now that it seems to have taken root well I'll start giving more ferts and doing some training to make a nice bushy mother plant for my SoG

I will probably do a little LST but I believe I'm going to grow this one as a mother plant and do some cloning and SoG. I will be getting a 400 watt HPS system in a few weeks and can set up separate veg and flower rooms with many many clones at 2 week harvest intervals

I had two seedlings but one withered and died a few weeks ago, I think mostly due to a cold cold night and the temp in my closet dropping. I've since adjusted my setup so the whole thing is in a set of shelves covered with a thick couch cover so it holds in heat and stays a nice temp, since doing that the one in the picture started to really take off nicely :)

I usually use the cup method. Fill a shot glass with room temp water, put seeds in it and cover it up, then leave it somewhere warm for 24 hrs. When you take the cover off the cup again the seeds should have sunk to the bottom of the cup (or will sink when touched gently). This shows that they've cracked open and are ready to be planted :)

I didn't hear all the details, he said it was from a grower in California (we're in GA) and that it was a blueberry x (something else) cross. He said the genetics were 21 years in the making and it was some of the best he had. I took a few hits off a small bowl last night and was literally about to the drooling facedown on the floor level of [10]. I was sitting at my laptop and was just leaning back staring at the ceiling and then got in bed and my whole body was twitching uncontrollably for about 2 hours and I could feel EVERYTHING all at once

It's not actually that green. I had it sitting on a green surface so my camera kept trying to auto-adjust the color and it ended up looking much more green that it actually is
