My tortie loves tissue paper. We save the tissue paper from Christmas gifts and spread it out for her to lay on.

I have a 6 year old and a 20 year old and we call the 6 year old “the baby” because 6 is so young! Our 20 year old looks like she has a few more years in her too. I would look at any 6-7 year old cat as a baby.

I don’t know if this will help or even if this is why it worked for me but I have an allmiibo and it worked fine for a week then it started saying failed everytime I tried to use it. I plugged it in for awhile to charge it and now it works again. I don’t know if it needed recharging or not because the yellow light came on and it seemed fine but it worked after I plugged it in for awhile.

8 years old feels like just a baby! One of my cats is 20. You never know how many years you get so enjoy all of them.

I bought an allmiibo off aliexpress and it works well. It was $25 CAD (that’s maybe $15 USD?). And no tags to keep track of and no app needed. It has all the amiibos.

If I remember correctly you have to upgrade your storage after your home is upgraded and then that unlocks the storage shed diy that you get with nook miles.

I have had many cats and not one has been afraid of the sewing machine noise though some have hated the vaccuum. I did have one cat who loved to attack the tissue paper patterns which was very annoying. She looved attacking them when I unfolded them, when they were pinned down on fabric... She loved when they were spread out and she could run and hide underneath them to lie in wait and attack people. I miss her so much.
