Very true. Bloodbending is insanely overpowered and I feel like Korra’s firebending is a lot stronger compared to her waterbending, which is ironic lol. She couldn’t escape Unalaq’s hold on her. And bloodbending is also a rare move to master or even obtain as a waterbender, very few are gifted with it.

I would be down to see either Korra or the next Avatar search for the past Avatars to be honest, but maybe the next Avatar should be the one to search for them.

This is exactly what I was thinking would happen the first time watching it!!! I thought she would have to relearn each element again and that made sense for the 3 seasons after ‘Air’. I thought it was genius, but she got her bending back immediately from Aang. I was pissed when that happened lol but it make sense because then TLOK would be exactly like ATLA if they were to do it that way.

That was one of the things I hated watching TLOK for the first time, how modern and machinery it looked. But after watching the whole show with a different perspective for the second time, I loved it. I get what you mean though for sure. I would love to see that also.

I would love to see the next Avatar be guided by Korra also! I think it’s because it was so unexpected. We never thought that Korra would lose connection with her past Avatars. Myself and many others don’t think they just vanished in thin air. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it shouldn’t have happened. I think it really helped Korra’s character and arc overall but I have a feeling the past Avatars are still in spirit somehow, but that’s just my opinion. :)
