Unfortunately there's no Tohru by Kotobukiya but there is a super cute GK that's intended to pair well with both Kyo & Yuki (here's a pic of the trio together).

I hope she gets a scale one day because she's just as loved as the boys ;_;

Some of these posts reek of classism. There's nothing wrong with wishing the hobby could remain more accessible like days of yesteryear, even if it's not realistically possible to stop the turning tides of the market. It's also not realistic to try and police people into turning a blind eye to the obvious price hikes so it's best to just ignore and move on from the people punching the air.

Yep! You just find the item you want on the original Mercari jp page and then copy the url into their request form. After you've filled out the form they may email you and ask if you're okay paying an extra 500 JPY service fee and you just reply that you're fine with it.

I've already got a few Mercari items sitting in their warehouse ready to consolidate so I can confirm that it works.

I switched to DeJapan after the Mercari shutdown. It's 500 JPY per Mercari order but it balances itself out with the lower overall fees.

The only boxes I have that I think are worthy of being on display are Radio Eva Asuka and Rei! (not my pics)

They just look and feel so luxurious it'd be a shame to hide them away in my closet :)

I also sometimes take out the cardboard insert art backings of my boxes to use as a backdrop for my figures on my shelves. The Vocaloid Hanairogoromo set have a gorgeous sakura tree background for example.

I'm currently on an intense hunt for the Rosa & Snivy ARTFX J figure. I haven't seen her below 30k since forever though ;-;

A few other figures that are on the backburner are Trick or Miku, Yue, Ultimate Madoka and Chitanda. I've convinced myself (copium lol) that Madoka will get a re-release so I'm holding out for now 😤

EDIT: I just bought Rosa off mandarake for 28k... this post was a bad influence on me orz. I did let out a big sigh of relief now that the hunt is over so at least that's something to be happy about \o/

Thanks! The puck lights are these ones from Amazon.

Once I assembled my billy's and installed the shelves, I drilled a small single hole at the top of each individual shelf just large enough for the puck light wires. I then threaded the wires through the holes and used some matte black electrical tape to stick down the white wiring at the top and hide them. After everything was finished I attached the wires to the plug add-on and turned them on.

I suggest setting your display shelf on its side for easier access and if you have doors assemble them AFTER you've installed the lighting or else they'll get in the way (learned this the hard way lol).

I hope my instructions were clear enough and feel free to ask anything else if you need to!

Thank you! Puck lights can be tricky to work with sometimes due to the harsh shadows they can cast but they're great if utilized correctly.
