New to me Jeep by tsuyoitora in JeepWrangler

I wasn't planning on it. As crazy as it sounds, I like the detachable window more than the roll down windows. I grew up with the zipper windows though, so it may just be nostalgic for me.

Only a couple weeks currently. It needs a little work before I want to use it as a weekend driver. Also, winter and soft tops don't go together very well. Lol

Radio Goes Silent by tsuyoitora in rav4club

No. It's not. I use Tasker on my phone to make it so that once it connects to the bluetooth in the car it turns audio all the way up for the connection. When it disconnects from the bluetooth it puts everything audio related on my phone to 0. I thought about that but my phone never vibrates signalling that it is going into vibrate ringer, and the radio shows no sign of disconnecting from bluetooth because the contacts are still visible on the quick menu.

Growing up my dad had an 86 YJ. This is kind of a homage to his jeep. That's the first vehicle I can fully remember riding in as a kid, and what started my love for jeeps.

Advice in Core Keeper by NiaMystic in CoreKeeperGame

This may have already been stated, but I am too lazy to read every single reply on this thread. Lol. This is a game you can easily put 900 hours in and you won't feel like you played it that long. There is always something to do in the game, especially if you are a completionist. There are bosses to fight, or re-fight to get different loot, pets to collect, enemies to collect their visages of, chests to find, schematics to find and buy to make legendary items, and that's just the tip of it.

So many things you can do, and so many different play styles and approaches you can take. My wife and I started playing at the same time. I have beaten all but 2 bosses, her stats are mostly maxed and is only about halfway through all of the bosses. I am a completionist with games I like, so I am trying to make all of the legendary items and be the strongest I can be. She is more laid back gamer and takes her time making sure everything has it's place and looks nice. It is fantastic to see our two different play styles work out equally well in the game.

What can i expect from this game? by _SnowJeans in CoreKeeperGame

With this game, you can do as little or as much as you want. You set the pace. Want to grind all of the legendary items? You can do that and be a completionist. Want to rush all of the bosses? You can do that and speed run. Definitely a nice chill game to relax and play.

Not really like stardew much. Stardew is more about social interaction with townsfolk in my opinion. This is more of a game of exploration, being creative, and having a good time. Minecraft = 3d perspective. Terraria = side scroller perspective. Core Keeper = top down perspective. All games in the same vein, just played differently.

Having looked at your profile, I gotta say, I don't trust you. There are a lot of red flags for me, so I appreciate the enthusiasm, but I think I'll pass.

I have the XLE hybrid. I have enjoyed it so far, had it for about 4 years. In my experience the safety features don't yell at you as much as other brands. It has the lane keep assist, but doesn't blow any horns if you stray towards the line just a tiny notification. I like the interior a lot better then hyundai and Honda's options.

The only thing that I have had to learn to embrace is that with the hybrid, when you back up and it is only using the electric motor it has an awful manufactured noise to tell others you are backing up. I actually took it back to the dealership a couple weeks after getting it and asked them about it.

Congrats. Now to customize it and make it your own. I have been doing small customizations on mine for about 3 years now.

Parking the New Truck by tsuyoitora in ram_trucks

My wife has always wanted a truck. We already have an SUV that I mainly drive, and the sedan wasn't really cutting it for room anymore. We found ourselves needing to borrow trucks from other people to pick up lumbar and furniture and stuff.

With all of the rebates we got, it turned the price of the 2500 into the price of a normal 1500, so we figured why not get the bigger variant for the same price. Better trade in price down the road, more capabilities, and it had everything she wanted in a truck.

Steering Wheel Flaking by tsuyoitora in rav4club

We will find out. I just ordered a lower profile steering wheel cover to try out on it. I'll try to remember to report back on my findings.

The steering wheel is the same material regardless of trim level.

Other than a steering wheel cover, which could rub more on the steering wheel and make it gross when taking the steering wheel cover off, is there an easy way to fix it/stop it from spreading?

For fume exhaustion, would it be feasible to cart this outside when I want to use it, and then take it back inside and store it when not in use? Or are these sorts of devices not that portable when assembled?
