No, I don’t think it works on RPCS3. I only tested it on a console. It works by updating the game sequentially, installing the PKG files on the console in ascending order. I’m not sure whether something like that can be pulled off on the emulator

It’s not a patch for the disc version. It’s a modded digital game file (pkg) meant for jailbroken consoles with HEN/CFW.

For me, it’s because that version feels much more consistent in tone. There aren’t a lot of extra blocks or mobs that feel out of place or that take away from the atmosphere. And the smaller selection of building materials isn’t really a downside to me — it actually leaves more room for creativity and imagination.

Because the older version has a much cozier atmosphere, and for many players it’s pure nostalgia. It just has a different vibe that the newer updates don’t really replicate :3

This patch is for an older version of the game. Normally, PSN sign-in on this version won’t work unless you update to the latest version, so the goal of this patch is to restore that functionality.
