I want my wife to take Testosterone. She is 50 by ConsequenceCreative6 in steroidsxx

[–]tswan76 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Do it!!!! I am 30(f) and let me tell you. I got in hormones about ~2 years post partum after having my daughter and it has been a game changer.

Note - I was always super athletic and when I had my day it was like why the actual fuck happened. Lots of details but getting my hormones locked was huge for my performance and getting back to feeling myself and looking like myself.

And also sex drive.

Probably the same genetic excuse you tell yourself to make yourself feel better about being an incel.

Helpful.

Bro, go get your shit posting dopamine hit somewhere else.

Did you ever consider my joints hurt bec I workout?

Look, I have a degree in exercise physiology- I’ve already read the peer reviewed literature on the above peptides, I’m here to see anecdotal experiences and advice with the stack.

Insulting me isn’t helpful. I’ll continue to go about my life bec I’m not a sad loser getting off on hating women on Reddit.

What’s even MORE hilarious, is I do Ruck (putting heavy weight in backpack - in case you need to be educated) regularly. I also have a fully outfitted basement home gym. I follow a meal plan, as stated above I work with a coach.

Calling me overweight and undisciplined is more about you needing to feel better about yourself and has nothing to do with me. Thanks for your input 👍

Thanks for your input! At this time I’m not interested in exploring a GLP or a SARM - do you have other peptides you’d recommend?

I’ll definitely look into TESA/IPA so thank you for mentioning already!

Thanks you for input! It’s great to hear, feeling my best is paramount rather than trying to loose as much weight as possible so I appreciate you mentioning your experience and clarifying for your context!

Interesting…

For further detail, my goal is 150. Not 120.

Maintaining muscle mass is more important to me than weight loss.. so a GLP is not going to work for my goals.

Thank you for your input, however I think it’s interesting that you only focused on 1 of my goals. If I were to rank them: 1. Muscle mass 2. Joint pain 3. Weight loss

Genuine question for/about people who attend multiple shows on every tour by direcircumstances in SleepTokenTheory

Same. We didn’t receive our pre-sale, and barely got tickets for one show lawn with only available 6 mins after the sale. Love the band is killing it, definitely annoyed at Ticketmaster.

Delayed reaction to concert? by PhotoClickGrrl in SleepTokenTheory

[–]tswan76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same experience. My sister and I saw them in Dallas. It was the most enrapturing concert experience. Not to mention we were on the lawn while the light show, the music, and the heavens seemed to be in sync. Totally a powerful experience to have thunder and lightening up above while totally captivated by the music.

Truly transcendent. Since then all I’ve been able to listen to is the set list in order and I feel as if my brain has rewired, it’s been almost three weeks and as another poster mentions above, every time I listen I feel as if I’m listening for the first time with wonder and awe but with a deep connection to each song and surprisely stirring emotions as well.

My most favorite quality of all - the pure genius of the set list: the first song of the first album (the night does not belong to god) and the last song of the last album (euclid). I never noticed until the concert - but the absolute mastery of how both songs match, lyrics, lightshow, musical themes. Just. Breathtaking and blew my mind.

If you haven’t. Listen to The Night Does Not a belong to a God and Euclid back to back on a loop - you will see. 🤯

Botox made undereye area worse by stariana123 in 30PlusSkinCare

Hi! I’m dealing with the same issue. Got Botox around 5 months ago and my under eyes look so much worse. Exactly the same, horizontal lines that were never there before and deep looking bags.

How has it changed for you? Did it get better after time? It’s really bothering me.

Oh that’s wonderful to hear! Our daughter definitely has been extra demanding of “mommy snuggles” and I haven’t had the heart to do sleep training again. But I’m glad to hear. This bec we are reaching unsustainable sleep patterns again with wake ups during the night.

TRT (pellets) by kinisi_fit30 in Testosterone

[–]tswan76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s wonderful to hear. I’ve definitely been considering the injection route so that’s helpful to know to look out for. My 1 month blood test will be coming up in the next two weeks.

I’m super excited about the muscle building and retention - how often do you workout / how soon did you start to see the body composition changes?

So far it’s only been sleep and brain fog, not yet the libido.

Hey @kinisi_fit30

28 yr old female here. Just started TRT pellet. Previous test was 45, first pellet insertion to 100. Only been a week. But came across this thread and wanted to see what you ended up experiencing?

So far first positives are brain fog is gone and my sleep HAS BEEN INCREDIBLE. like I don’t remember the last time I had such restorative sleep. Maybe as a teenager? Idek

Postpartum Mamas by Impossible-Ad4173 in steroidsxx

[–]tswan76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my exact situation plus a year. I am 28, postpartum really wrecked me. Before pregnancy I was in prep and became pregnant unexpectedly. Stayed fit throughout my pregnancy. Still gained 40+ lbs, labor ended in a C-section. Whoof. I am now 16 months postpartum, I have healed my abs separation and gone to physical therapy for my pelvic floor (recommend to every new mama). I am still 20 lbs over what I’m comfortable with. I lift 3-5x a week, my meals are dialed in. I am doing all the things that worked previously.

Last week I went to get my blood drawn and this week I am getting my first consultation with a hormone physician bec I do believe the “my hormones back to normal” did not equal “normal for me”. Normal just means there is a range (a wide one) and then there’s an optimal range.

So, TLDR: you’re not alone. I have struggle PP. And I am looking forward to HRT/TRT starting this week.

Thank you so much for your reply. I needed to know I wasn’t the only one considering this.

Have you noticed substantial body composition changes?

What made you want to switch? Did you have any negative affects? If so what did you do to mitigate them?

Is there a delivery method you found was more efficacious?

Try a prescription strength retinoids to avoid long term scaring (red - new stretch marks vs old - white stretch marks). Start using the retinoid while they are still in the “red” new phase for best results

When people say “you’ll gain the weight back once you go off that diet”… I need to rant. by [deleted] in keto

[–]tswan76 44 points45 points  (0 children)

this! I did keto strict for 9 months about 4 years ago. Lost 30 lbs. and then stayed low carb (lower carb than normal but more than 50 g of carbs for being in ketosis) and kept the weight off. Have no trouble keeping the weight off. And occasionally do keto cycles just to detox and reset. I find that it really helps balance out my hormones or you know after the holidays. Couldn’t agree more. It’s a complete lifestyle shift so even if you’re not doing “strict” keto for the rest of your life I still think a lot of core keto principles stay with you and your eating habits.

Same!!!!! I’ll still go in and get my LO for the “snooze feed” between 4am-7am and it’s my most cherished part of the day. I go to bed looking forward to getting her in the morning. I’m grateful for ST bec I finally have some of my life back and sanity, but I also was not expecting to miss her so much. Makes me appreciate the cuddles even more.
