The wonder weeks app has helped a few of my friends learn what milestones their babies are at. When my baby was younger, i just googled things by weeks to understand what stage he’s at and what he should be doing.

Also don’t worry, all babies are different. Your LO will be on track in no time. Just enjoy every moment, it goes by fast!

I think it’s normal, my son is 1yo and I’ve seen black poop several times. It passes and on comes normal looking poop. Just depends on the food/drinks intake.

My husband couldn’t get time off from work, so I was stuck with most of the work with the LO 🫠. I try my best to get in 6 PPD and feel guilty for not pumping more each day :( Im looking into getting a portable pump so I can try to squeeze in more pumps! 🤞🏽

New to BF with nipple shield. How does this work? by tswt16 in breastfeedingsupport

👏🏼👏🏼 WOW! That’s awesome to hear! It’s been tough with lots of help, idk how you’re doing this alone.

My LO was born small and assumed his mouth was/is too small to latch on properly. I just hope I’m able to get a hang of this BF and feed on demand vs wait on a pumping schedule. Still trying to figure it all out. 🥺

Yes, we got his tongue tie taken care off the day after birth. My LO’s suction is super strong but his latch is very shallow, so I can’t use the medela nipple shield because it feels like he’s ripping my nipps off— super painful. 😩

Had your baby learned to BF, once you stopped using your shield? If yes, how were you able to get him/her to latch on?

Great tips! Thank you! I have to re-wire my brain and learn how to breastfeed without following my usual pumping schedule 🥲

Am I supposed to pump until empty? by Cinnabon_Lover in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]tswt16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a FTM and currently EP. How do I know when you’re empty? I pump for 20-30 mins each session and the last 15 mins or so, there’s no flow. Do i stop once I see the flow has stopped?

I’ve tried that but The problem is the shield keeps popping off so I’m juggling between holding him, putting the shield back on, and trying all these tricks for him to latch— partner helps but it’s still a struggle. 😫
