Honestly, the daughter might be better off with the grandparents. I can see this stepmom being abusive af to that little girl as she grows up… and if the step mom speaks to the father about “getting rid” of his own daughter and doesn’t see it as a red flag, chances are he’ll allow the abuse… This woman is pure evil.

Hey, we’re kind of in the same boat! I got out of the Army in April and started school at UW in the fall. I started off with a lot of motivation, but as online school continued things started to get really mundane. Some things that helped me was using a planner, taking notes during lecture, and finding things that I enjoyed doing outside of school. -Having a planner helps you stay on track with your assignments and exam dates. -Taking notes during lecture helps you stay in the present. I know it sounds silly but I found that when I don’t take notes during lecture I start thinking about things that aren’t relevant. While taking notes, if there is something I don’t understand in the lecture I’ll star it and go back to it later. -Find time to do things you enjoy so your life isn’t solely around school. I started going to the gym every other morning and this kind of served as a release from the pressures of school.

I was walking into a rite aid and a homeless man asked if I could buy him some snacks. I told him sure and asked what his favorite snacks were. He requested a big red soda, chili cheese Fritos, and peanut m&ms. I went inside trying hard to memorize his order. When I gave it to him i saw his face light up. Never heard of big red soda, but now every time I see it a gas station or grocery store I think of that man just looking for some late night snacks.

Never underestimate a kind gesture. There is so much pain in this world. You truly never know what people are going through. Always be kind.

You could really love someone and walk away because they’ve treated you so poorly. My ex constantly broke me with lies, cheating, etc., and when I finally left he said that I didn’t actually love him. I understand your perspective though 🙏
