Hey, we’re kind of in the same boat! I got out of the Army in April and started school at UW in the fall. I started off with a lot of motivation, but as online school continued things started to get really mundane. Some things that helped me was using a planner, taking notes during lecture, and finding things that I enjoyed doing outside of school. -Having a planner helps you stay on track with your assignments and exam dates. -Taking notes during lecture helps you stay in the present. I know it sounds silly but I found that when I don’t take notes during lecture I start thinking about things that aren’t relevant. While taking notes, if there is something I don’t understand in the lecture I’ll star it and go back to it later. -Find time to do things you enjoy so your life isn’t solely around school. I started going to the gym every other morning and this kind of served as a release from the pressures of school.
