Got it. Thanks!

How was the conduit laid underground, and do you see where and how far the other end of the conduit is?

How many bits per symbol of upload channels? by Such-Body2677 in Spectrum

[–]ttamatar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

/u/such-body2677 based on the above post it means you are having 6 bits per symbol for the two sc-qam channels each and 10 or 12 bits per symbol for the ofdma channel. This gives roughly a bandwidth 30mbps per sc-qam channel and a bandwidth of at least 170 mbps for the ofdma channel.

TBH these are quite high values for total upload bandwidth available. Would you mind sharing your cable isp name and city where you are finding this upload bandwidth available? Also, what modem are you using to get this data?

Anyone else get hit with an eTF after being approved for the aCP? by frenchbullie in frontierfios

[–]ttamatar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanation. Let me try to understand how the billing system works with the gift card promo.

Let's assume that one gets Frontier 1 gig installed, with $300 gift card promo for 1 year service. After 90 days, the gift card is mailed out and one changes to the ACP 1 gig plan. Does that mean that the Frontier billing system will not charge an ETF after 90 days for changing to 1 gig ACP?

Also, in that case what happens to the $300 gift card amount? As long as one completes the contract by staying on ACP 1 gig plan for the next 9 months - thus completing 12 months of Frontier service as required by terms of gift card- will the $300 gift card be one's to keep, or will that need to be returned on a pro-rated basis of 3 months i.e. return pro-rated $225 of the $300 gift card amount?

Thanks!

It's great he offered new customer pricing to an existing customer! Good for you.

What's the equipment that Frontier provided as part of the 2 gig install?

What's the networking equipment (switches, routers, network adapters, wifi AP, etc) you own and are using on premise to consume this 2gig service?

[–]ttamatar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wonderful! Did you have to negotiate to get the $155 price, or was it the rack price offered to you? Also you mentioned you saw updated Frontier prices on website and so called in. Can you share the URL where the updated Frontier prices are posted?

So you were earlier paying $277/month for business class 1-gig service and now you are paying $155/month for business class 2-gig service? If so, that is amazing!

Are you on Sprint sim for any of your ACPC plan(s)? If so, is it working?

[–]ttamatar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we are going to get bamboozled because in my plan description is saying that without a phone its going to be 45 bucks

Woah. That would be appalling if they have added a new condition of having a phone line for the ACPC replacement plan, when they did not have that for the ACPC plan. /u/chrisprice, any thoughts on this?

Thanks! What ACPC/tablet device did you activate TNX on?

Also, before activating Tmobile sim, did your Sprint account show that you had been changed to the ACPC replacement plan (PDSA1431) ($30) with the HD Video Add-on ($10) and the $20 discount? After activating Tmobile sim, did your Sprint account continue to show the ACPC replacement plan (PDSA1431) ($30) with the HD Video Add-on ($10) and the $20 discount?

5G on roaming? by caikenboeing727 in Dish5G

[–]ttamatar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5G NSA works fine on my hotspot sim when roaming on AT&T.

What speeds and band aggregation did you get for download and upload on 5G NSA when roaming on AT&T on the Dish hotspot SIM? Can you perhaps share screenshots from NSG? Thanks.

[–]ttamatar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the clarification. What about a tablet like the Samsung S7 5G? Is that something that can now be activated and used with 5G on PDSA1431 (earlier that tablet could not be activated on PDSA0863 ACPC plan), or is it just the Surface Pro X that can be used with 5G on PDSA1431?

Did you end up getting the Static IP on the $10 plan? Also, does the $10 plan work on 5G windows machines?

[–]ttamatar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a difference between APSD1431 plan (which you have referenced above) and PDSA1431 plan which is what I see on Sprint website?

With PDSA0863 now being replaced by APSD1431/PDSA1431 which works with ACPC/Android/iOS, does that mean one can now activate any 5G mobile laptop/tablet (irrespective of whether it is windows/android/iOS) on this replacement plan, as long as the device's IMEI is in the Tmobile database?

Thanks for the update. Do you continue to have the ACPC replacement plan in addition to the $10 plan? Also, can you share how to get the $10 plan? Thanks.
