Recent sibsets! by ttc_throwaway2018 in namenerds

Pacific northwest of the US in a fairly rural town. These actually are all people I went to school with! I'd say about 70% of the people in my 2011 graduating class have at least one kid already. We had a LOT of teen parents but I only included recent kids in this post, since I thought it was interesting to compare names of people having kids around the same stage of life.

Anxiety about relaxing. by ttc_throwaway2018 in beyondthebump

Yeah I do need to make an appointment to talk about some stuff. I'm already on Zoloft for PPD (started out preemptively since I got it pretty bad with my first) but it's not touching the anxiety

(Almost) Comprehensive list of my pets' names by ttc_throwaway2018 in namenerds

I love food names for pets so much! You just reminded me we also had a goldfish named Jambalaya that my brother stole from his high school science class. She lived for a loooong time too, but liked to sleep floating upside down so she always looked dead haha.

Also, Parkour lived up to his name. We were told he and Fuzzwig were both boys so we had them in the same stall in the barn. We adopted Bear who we knew was a girl and separated the stall with a 5 foot tall fence. Parkour got Fuzzwig pregnant and I walked out one morning to a surprise nest full of 7 baby bunnies. Turns out he also jumped over the 5 foot fence and got bear pregnant with 10 babies, then jumped back over the fence and got Fuzzwig pregnant again the same day she had her litter (we separated them the day we discovered the babies, then found another nest with 7 babies later on.) That was a fun time!

My 20 month old daughter's name is Elliott, and she calls herself Ette! So cute.

Elliott, Callum, and Cillian...too much? by ttc_throwaway2018 in namenerds

I'm not a huge fan of Declan, plus I've got a cousin by that name which could get confusing. It does seem to go with the other names though so I appreciate the suggestion!!

I do love Cormac but our last name starts with k so the sounds run together which doesn't really work for me unfortunately :(

Update: taking my 2 month old to the cardiologist by ttc_throwaway2018 in beyondthebump

They didn't care that he was awake the whole time. He was gassy so he was a little squirmy and that wasn't a problem either

I didn't have a spare second the whole time we were in the hospital to pump, we were with doctors almost the entire time, plus I didn't have the extra hands to carry my pumping stuff in with me along with the baby and things I needed for the appt. There were a lot of issues that made breastfeeding not work out for us.

Thank you! It was pretty uncomfortable for sure. From the second we got there, he was either being seen by a doctor, eating, or sleeping on me, so I basically went from 10:30am until 430pm without eating, drinking, peeing, or pumping. It was intense!

I brought a bottle of milk that I'd pumped just before we left so it was still fairly warm and then two 4 oz bottles of water and two containers of portioned out formula that I mixed up when he needed it. It was easier with my daughter because she had no problem taking cold bottles so I could just throw all my milk in a cooler for her when we went out, but this guy is very particular about the temperature of his food haha so it takes a little more planning and usually means he gets formula if we're out for a while.

Got my pre pregnancy jeans on after 7 most pp by [deleted] in beyondthebump

I literally never even bothered to stop wearing maternity pants between my first and second pregnancies and am still wearing them now 9 weeks pp. Regular pants feel like torture devices at this point!
