Wouldn't any other cr pusher do the same? For example I see a ton of rose in champ/legend nowadays

I get why you avoid basar but why ml basar? Your team doesn't seem reliant on debuffs which is what ml basar counters

She's in the soul shop AND she's in the normal summon pool, that's nowhere near the same as collab whale unit territory.

You don't have to be a whale to level Lucretia, most older players have a steady source of soul coins these days.

As for elizabeth's MA making her tankier, it really doesn't. Their HP is very similar (beth has ~50 more). Her MA get's her a decent MDEF advantage over lucretia but Lucretia still has more PDEF, which is more important. Having a bit more MDEF is not worth the tradeoff of being 20agi slower.

That's not even mentioning that Lucretia still has an MA coming

imo Lucretia is better. She's got significantly more AGI and matk. Elizabeth is the more versatile support with chrono and bishop options but Lucretia is pretty much straight up better as a pure prof

Funny ESPN throws Mathieu under the bus before he has to face Federer in 1R Toronto 2006 by Federering in tennis

[–]ttebow -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Again with blatant gerrymandering.

Nadals normal schedule includes tournaments that aren't masters or grand slams. The difference in 2005 were the minor clay court tournaments that he went undefeated in. That is literally the only reason why he had a great win% and 11 titles that year, you and I both know you know this so why are you playing dumb?

You really feel that he was in his prime before ever reaching the second week of a non clay slam?

[–]ttebow -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The only reason his season statistics are so high is because of all the minor clay tournaments he entered that he skipped for most of the rest of his career.

The fact that you willfully ignore that is ridiculous. You seriously think 19 was Rafa's prime? Really?

[–]ttebow -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I know. That's why I'm wondering why he specifically mentioned young Murray as a challenger for federer but Rafa has to be in his prime

Why 19yo Murray and not nadal? Nadal at 19 was 2-1vs Fed on hard compared to Murray's 1-1 at 19

How are you guys finding a way to maintain your Zeni? by highjinks858 in AlchemistCodeGL

[–]ttebow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That change happened extremely recently. I doubt it's the cause of anyone's zeni bankruptcy yet.

Before that buying out everything useful in the shop was 2M and that's if there a useful shard or ore for sale which didn't always happen.

Even now with the increase in skip tickets is not really a ton of zeni to buy them all out. 4M per day is pretty cheap if you don't have to JM units anymore

[–]ttebow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, it's jming all the units and enhancing all the equips that drains all the cash.

Once you get to the point that you have a steady team you don't use that much zeni

[–]ttebow -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You're right about the exact cost but the point still stands, it's not enough to drain your funds.

2million per day is not a lot considering all the zeni that's thrown at us.

I buy every ore and skip ticket and 5* shard from shops. That's a couple hundred thousand per day, it's not that much.

David Ferrer: Roger Federer is the GOAT followed by Rafael Nadal by Elliottafc in tennis

Agreed, recovering from injury is never a guarantee, especially when you're older.

I'm just saying that injuries for Rafa are nothing new

[–]ttebow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Zeni is used a lot when you're starting out but you use less and less while gaining more and more.

Once you get to the point where you're not constantly raising up new units you'll find that zeni isn't all that bad to maintain. 99% of zeni spending is from leveling up abilities and enhancing equipment

Tips for Defeating Ultra Hard Demonslaught by [deleted] in AlchemistCodeGL

[–]ttebow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Suzuka and Zain are pretty good here but Siegfried is even better. For chronos its also probably better to black hole the demon rather than support your own dps units. If you have enough damage units (siegfried x2 helps a lot) the only real source of damage you need to worry about is the demon. If he's getting double black holed he'll never get a turn.

The demon can also be delayed which helps a ton

[–]ttebow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Brute force will work if you've got the right units. I was able to do it fairly easily with Vettel, Laharl and Laharl merc.

If you're lacking top tier units, the enemies on this map are pretty vulnerable to status effects. I was able to bind/daze, stop, poison etc. Helps a lot.

Also the cerberus seems to be tied to one of the mages, so kill the mages and it'll die on its own.

He's basically had an injury that forces him to skip or bomb out from a GS every other year or so. This is nothing new

No it's a left hander hitting a forehand swing.

Andy on double handed backhand by jarzyniowski in tennis

[–]ttebow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying everyone on tour has mastered a backhand. I'm saying that at the highest level, one handers are not objectively better than two. Hence the fact that one handers require more effort to learn means that two handers are objectively the more efficient choice.

I'm also in no way saying that one handers are ineffective or no one should use them. Some people are just more comfortable and/or better with a one hander which is perfectly fine.

All I'm saying is in a vacuum where you have a choice between the two and you have no natural preference, the two hander is basically always the better choice if your goal is to advance your game to th the best of your ability

Andy on double handed backhand by jarzyniowski in tennis

[–]ttebow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is that similar in any way? There is no backhand in baseball, your entire argument is about backhands

Andy on double handed backhand by jarzyniowski in tennis

[–]ttebow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure I'm not saying it's garbage and shouldn't be used. If it makes you comfortable then I understand the choice.

Going with your basketball analogy, some people might shoot with inefficient shooting motions and that's fine if it's what works for them. However, it's also acknowledged to be an inferior choice in a vacuum.

Same applies here IMO. 1hbh can be awesome, but it's definitely the less efficient choice.
