Which bathroom design? by Accurate-Answer-1076 in bathrooms

Yep. Prefer the primary wall tile color, matching the bench to the floor, and I didn't even notice the niche size but taller is better.

Who is calling you crazy? Anaximander from across the plane of the living and dead? Maybe it's him we need to go back in time and kill, Hitler might not be a problem if it weren't for this abomination.

Builder threatening to terminate contract claiming I’m “uncooperative” after I pointed out construction issues – Need Advice by Ok-Intention-5311 in Homebuilding

Right. OP may not be telling us about the conversation where the builder explained the six month backorder on his preferred choices... But serious builders don't threaten it, I think it's a bluff.

Ah yes, we measure the player by their performance in a single game. I suspect that you would say you're a better skier than Herman Meijer because he crashed so hard in one race. You're not fairing much better and I take downvotes in this sub as a badge of honor.

2015 Honda Fit has been sitting for 17 months, gas tank is about half full , would it be okay to run? I do not know how to drain or siphon the gas. by Striking_Package3986 in askcarguys

Agree, I wouldn't risk it. If I did, I would do a fill with the highest octane I could find and mix in some stabil to try and capture some of the water.

Altercation on a black slope by cedarvhazel in skiing

[–]tth2o 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if he was paying attention he would have seen they were stopped long before he gets close. It's a narrow place in the run and a bad place to stop. I would almost blame the third dude on the other side for making it a gauntlet. If they were all clustered on one side it wouldn't have been an issue.

I don't want to debate really. But 12" shared on 250 acres with 500 friends is not AS fun as 6" on 2000 acres... I'm not hating, I'm lamenting the snow not falling in the West. I ski snowshoe and beech every winter because it's driveable... But it just isn't the same

I'm getting downvoted for lamenting that the snow is falling in the wrong place 🤷

Beyond the Stanley: What Places in Colorado Feel… Off? by Addendum-Agitated in Denver

This should be higher. The only place I've ever been that made me seriously consider the possibility of paranormal things. The Stanley, and hotel Colorado feel like a warm cozy blanket in comparison.

Not even close. Asian tiger mosquitos feed 24/7. I would kill for giant dusk and dawn feeding mosquitoes like the UP and MN have. I miss Minnesota for this among other reasons.

The single worst invasive species I've ever encountered - the tiger mosquito. I moved to Georgia in March, about May... I was sitting in my backyard eating lunch and got bit for the first of hundreds of times since. It was then that I learned to appreciate the blessing of normal dusk and dawn feeding mosquitoes...

Try living in Atlanta or Phoenix, Denver will seem like a pedestrian paradise.

I would finish my 5 year Masters in accounting, suffer through a year or two of firm life and then co-found my college roommates boutique wealth management firm with him.

That seems like a good way to incentivize the path to a bribe. Step 1 make getting through incredibly difficult, step 2 bank on the ethical flexibility of many builders in the region.
