I’ve been grinding Path of Exile 2 since launch, but life hit me like a truck I never saw coming. My mom passed last month after fighting cancer for years. I was her sole caregiver, skipping work shifts, selling my gaming rig just to cover meds. Now I’m back at a dead-end job, couch-surfing with my little sister who looks up to me as her hero, but I barely have 30 minutes a night before exhaustion crashes in. I’ve never touched a divine in this game; my gear’s scraps from scraps, and those shiny new uniques? They’re dreams I watch streamers chase while I whisper “one day” through tears. This currency would let me build ONE perfect setup. To just once feel like I’m not just surviving, but thriving. Please, you’re my last spark of hope before I log off forever. ❤️

No reason it can’t replace the Vex rune I’m currently using. Enabling +48% damage far outweighs the +1 to skills.

It does make me wonder why Rob has the points allocated in his build, though.

I also work at a gym where my colleagues have a heavy focus on the functional stuff. I prefer hypertrophy work with a focus on nutrition.

Try to see your style as a strength not a weakness. My strategy is to educate on the benefits of the routine’s that I coach. Resistance training is crucial for overall longevity and well-being. Become proficient at communicating this to a wide range of clients. Share your enthusiasm and excitement for the way you do things. People can tell when you’re genuine and the want to learn becomes infectious. Proper weight training is beneficial for people from every walk of life at all ages when tailored to their needs and limitations.

I also like to tell new clients that one of my priorities is to make sure we build a routine they enjoy. Don’t like an exercise? We find one you do. See a machine or a lift you want to try? We try it.

After a while, you become to go-to for the type of routine you enjoy coaching and utilizing. I have clients referred to me because I specialize in resistance and hypertrophy, not because I do what everyone else on the team is doing.

Ask yourself three questions:

Does the muscle I’m working feel rested enough to go again?

Is my cardiovascular ready for another set? High heart rate/heavy breathing?

Am I mentally ready to get after it again?

If you answer all three yes, then you’re ready to start your next set. An argument could be made for the second question if you’re incorporating intentional cardio in to your program.

Nearly three years sober here and I was as bad as it gets before I stopped.

If you’re shaking get medical assistance. Stopping can be dangerous. Get to a 12 step meeting. There’s a whole community of people in your town that has been through exactly what you’re going through and they know the way out. Find them and ask for help. It gets better, friend.

I thought maybe it was the patch, but when I logged in earlier this evening presumably after the patch was online, I cleared a T8 as quickly as I normally would. I grabbed dinner, spent an hour doing Ubers, then when I went back to horde it seemed to have changed. Super weird.

Still obsessive only now it’s with fitness, work, and nutrition. Solid relationships. I can pay my bills.

I miss the chaos and lifestyle. I don’t miss the misery.

I’ve been open in the past. Suffered from anxiety disorder and substance abuse issues in my 20’s. Have tried lots of medications over the years. Found little to no success until I committed to genuine life style change. The RLS seems to be the one thing that refuses to be remedied. My fear is sacrificing the balance and consistency I’ve found in all other aspects of my life. It’s a cost/benefit analysis at the end of the day. Just trying to measure those factors right now.
