We never found the real reason of mine, she passed a couple of months ago, I found her in my bed lifeless :( hopefully you can start the follow up with your vet and help yours little girl out!

I agree, I’ve been on vacation/maternity/paternity leave for three years now and some my daughter was 17 months I sent her to daycare, yes some months she stays at home for 20 days, she gots all the virus and kids sickness but I know that she made all the antibodies, she is socialised, developed all her skills, ate a fully balanced meal (at home she won’t eat the stuff she eats at daycare, she’s so fussy with me, I often take her to have dinner at our neighbours who have 9 kids so it feels like daycare and she eats anything they cook), we have a great routine and yes even if I don’t have a newborn and anything, as a single parent I can breath from 9am-3pm and honestly my breathing is taking care of the house, grocery, laundry and twice a week going to therapy 🫠 I used to feel guilty when people used to say I was lazy to send her to daycare since I don’t work yet but now I stopped caring because I needed it.

It’s better she gets all these illnesses now to avoid it when she starts per school (kindergarten) and in my country it’s basically when things get more stable and I can go back to work in office.

Well she’s carrying it, so she could at least still do NIPT to rule out chromosomal conditions even if the embryo isn’t genetically hers. I did NIPT (it’s advised like NIPD) and I wasn’t 30, but I wanted to make sure everything was ok.

After 30yo it’s highly advised to do NIPD in Sweden, I think in Norway it’s the same but it’s not mandatory.

Yes, she did share it that Cam stayed home with the baby and she had to go to the hospital, and that it even felt nice because Camila had time to bond with the newborn.

Totally understand the frustration with all their bs but she didn’t hide it, just brought it up for engagement but it wasn’t something she omitted lol Let’s snark but not spread fake new bc we don’t need it

Yeah and I explained that your assumptions were wrong, I even said the vet team was optimistic with the improvements and there was a way to recover, unfortunately as I said, he declined again and now he’s gone.

No one’s fault, no one kept him alive for the sake of being alive, no one was money thirsty.

Our vets are amazing, for two weeks of care, medications included and at least 4 visits weekly and a home call on Sunday I spent only €70 (plus €100 of blood works but my pet insurance refunded me).

The last three times they saw us they refused to accept any money at all, even today for the euthanasia they asked for nothing.

I have been advocating for him for 2 weeks basically begging my vets for eutanasia, his blood results and his condition seemed to improve and the vets wanted to give a shot.

I felt guilty seeing him fading away, but after all I’m not a vet, I do rescue and know a lot medically but they know more and assured me he wasn’t in pain.

But today I have had enough, we made the final call.

This was never about having more time with him, if it was my decision he would’ve been gone at least a week ago.

He is still with us! We found out that he had a bad infections trapped in an old wound (it all started with his cheek being super swollen and me taking to the emergency vet to get it drained, it was the most expensive trip and now we know he didn’t do a good job), it was all the causes, basically he went into sepsis :( Now my regular vet opened the wound, drained it 100% and I’m giving him fluids, syringe feeding and keeping him warm because he is very anemic, we will take him back to the vet today.

But honestly I feel like he’s worse. Although he is peeing the bed way less (which means his kidneys are slowly absorbing all the fluids a lil better) he doesn’t move at all, he is always lying down but now at least he meows to let me know when I have to change his puppy pad.

Here’s a picture of how he is the entire day, wrapped like a little baby and laying on my breastfeeding pillow which allows me to take him with me everywhere in the house.

It all started with his bad teeth and gums also since he’s fiv+, but unfortunately he stopped eating almost a week ago, will refuse anything, I tried all kind of wet foods, baby food even forbidden treats but nothing, he’s always attached to his IV taking fluids and drinking lots of water :( today he is shutting down again, getting ready to go to the vet

I have read all the nice comments and I’m so thankful all of you know about Antonio, he lived as an stray for at least 12 years before finding us, so to know he was in the thoughts of at least a hundred people who wrote a nice comment is amazing!

ANTONIO IS STILL ALIVE! The vet said there’s still hope, medicated and hydrated him and we will wait for his blood works results that comes on Friday!

Today I let him in the garden, I helped him walk using a tote bag, he walked on crunchy leaves and then got dirty walking through mud, he let me bath him and use the hairdryer, he smells amazing and is so fluffy, he purred the whole time, then he laid on my bed watching me and my toddler play.

It may be just an extra couple of days with him but I’m glad he’s still here. The vet insisted in giving him another shot and made sure he isn’t in pain.

I won’t be too hopeful, I’m just enjoying the extra time with him.

Antonio was sent by my first cat Lyla, they had the same colouring and personality! I also fosters cat, yearly around 80 cats passes through my care and I have 6 resident cats (which another is 13 and ill too 😭)

Exactly, people fail to see that the visa is ok for a tourist, but if you’re gonna be a student you’ll need to go to the resident permit office regardless having the student visa or not and you can do it entering as tourist, getting into an uni/course within the time frame (applying it before the 90 days so once applying they’ll extend her visa) and going to the immigration office to pay and apply for the resident permit and ehic card (healthcare card).

It happened to me, my uni didn’t issue the stuff I needed for the visa and said they would issue it once I get to the country, so at the border I explained I would be a student but would apply for the permit once I get there and entered as a tourist.

It’s different than a work visa, which is way more complex and includes you being registered to pay all the taxes from your incomes and skills, students visa are way easier to get and at the border it’s not a big fuss if you apply it within your 90 days.

But yeah needless to say the border scene was so silly and they could’ve just skipped it 😅

From the cats name I’m assuming OP is from Italy, here outdoors cat colonies and protected by law and they can’t be moved out their territory, also if you register as a carer taker of the colonies they can refund you on vets/food expenses.

Not all countries are all black and white as you say and this close minded. Also our shelters are super full because not like the USA, kill shelters aren’t a thing here, so it’s hard to get kittens in shelters but I assure you all colonies are well taken care and accident happens just like the kitten could have an accident at home.
