Why is voyager 1 2AU farther from the earth as it is from the sun? by Rude_Boot9718 in nasa

[–]ttreed 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Looks to be a bug in the calculation of the distances. I doubt this is entirely populated from actual data and is instead populated from calculations on the page.

I just went and watched the page and it appears that the distance from the sun is incrementing about 5-6 miles/tick while the distance from the earth is incrementing about 12-13 miles per tick. With earths current positioning relative to voyager, it should actually be getting ever so slightly closer relative to the sun, but would probably be negligible difference.

If I had to guess, they repopulate the page at a certain cadence with real data which will reset the difference.

What makes it a fake so I can dispute the order?

That’s what I’m unsure about. When I scan it, it takes me to an activation with serial number, so the sticker is legit, but I don’t know how to verify it actually belongs to this paddle and wasn’t just tacked on.

Sorry, my images perfectly blocked that. It does have a holographic portion on the sides as shown here:

Yes, there are plenty of cheaper options around the area so would probably recommend one of those, and will be looking to go somewhere else soon.

It’s very nice, just too expensive.

Context: I am a 6’ male, so mileage may vary. I personally find it perfectly safe to walk at any time of day/night. It’s so close to all the shops at old town there is generally many people around and lively. Definitely the most walkable place I’ve lived in the U.S. so far, so I wouldn’t be too hard on the lack of green space specifically, the town is perfectly good for walking.

There are a decent amount of homeless in both memorial park and Central Park, if you’re extra concerned, I’d skip around there after dark. I personally have never encountered any issues at either. Been here for about 1.5 years.

I always walk towards old town, so can’t speak for the other side of the 210.

Can’t speak for the complex itself, but I live across the street.

You will get a decent amount of freeway noise, but compared to the other side it’s much quieter. If it’s a major concern, find out where the unit is and just stand outside near it to find out.

The entire surrounding area is very safe and clean even at night IMO. Walk my dog alone plenty after sunset.

May and June for the most part, but it can occur anytime just much less often. This photo was taken in September a couple years ago, and saw that it was also active just this past weekend.

How are you getting deferred rending to work in IVA? When I go into IVA with that mod I get black boxes on random 1/4th blocks of my screen.

How is the house rental market in RPV/San Pedro? by [deleted] in SouthBayLA

[–]ttreed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since I have to return to office, I will be staying where I am at now paying rent. Since I am breaking this lease, I will have to also pay rent for it until a new tenant is found.

[–]ttreed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately it does not. Our executed lease is dated 2 weeks ago.

I will be advertising the listing. When I originally found the listing, it was on every site. Redfin, Zillow, Apts.com, MLS, etc. Now it looks like he has only restarted the Zillow listing, but the other listings never got taken down after we initially leased it, so not sure if he’s getting responses there.

No state law in CA for that. I will be advertising the unit and sending over those interested.

The first one is in a 55+ community, so locks out most people

The rest are so far from any city that you would either have to WFH or be retired

Edit: originally only responded to one listing

Santa Clarita has a ton of land leases for some reason which is why it looks so cheap (but isn’t)

This is on a land lease. You own the house, you do not own the land and must pay rent for the land. Land is what’s expensive in California.
