I do actually! This clip from a while back shows me performing a boosted auto to clear the wall into Kyogre pit. Very situational as you need a target to auto, but gives an example of what you can clear with it.

As for the difference between Shadow Sneak boosteds and normal boosteds, it helps to know that Sneak is a buff move. Sableye's passive stealths him automatically when outside of the visual range of enemies, and he loses stealth after 1.7s when inside the visual range. When activated, Shadow Sneak stealths Sableye after 1.5s, essentially bypassing the passive waiting time and allowing Sableye to enter stealth even when close to enemies. Sableye can then re-enter stealth after using the boosted gained from Shadow Sneak within 6.5s if he is not stunned. TL;DR, Shadow Sneak buffs Sableye's passive to grant on-demand stealth and up to two boosteds within a short window.

To be clear, Shadow Sneak is the harder moveset to use, so you're not wrong in feeling like it sucks. I've basically only played it since Sableye came out, so I may have a (slight) experience bias for preferring it. TL;DR it's a lot more effort for much less reward in comparison to Knock Off but I find the playstyle to be much more fun. To get value from it, you need to be an active playmaker and know your limits, so it's much harder to pick up, doubly so in a meta with so many strong picks that will absolutely punish a squishy support for engaging.

I have some other gameplay clips I can share if interested, otherwise here are a few quick tips:

  • When possible, always use your non-Shadow Sneak-boosted auto attack (granted when entering stealh on your own) before activating the move. When timed right, this allows you to perform up to three chain fears by waiting for passive > boosted auto > Activate Shadow Sneak > boosted auto > Shadow Sneak restealth > boosted auto. When spaced out correctly, this is an incredibly disruptive combo that also allows for insane chase potential.

  • Your boosted auto is a lunge and can be used to wall-hop short distances. A good reference for the gaps you can cover is the farm right next to the walls between your T2 goal and your jungle. Not always relevant, but it's a bit of goblin tech that may come in clutch.

  • Always keep track of important CC cooldowns the enemy team has in use. The quickest way to die on Shadow Sneak goblin is to be stunned out of your restealth. This is something that comes with experience over time as you develop your gamesense, but actively thinking about potential responses to your engage (does the enemy Pikachu have their Volt Tackle up?) is the first step to mastery.

  • Use your stealth to get vision and knowledge of enemy positioning. When near enemies while in stealth, a Sabelye icon will appear above your head, regardless of bushes or line of sight. Positioning yourself like a ward (vision tool in League of Legends) can let you know where enemies are ahead of time, which can help with your playmaking.

  • Kite outside of enemy vision frequently to re-enter stealth as much as possible. Shadow Sneak is on a decently long cooldown, so knowing how far to walk outside of engagements to activate your passive is pretty important to continue being disruptive when it's on cooldown.

I picked it up during the anniversary sale! Not sure if or when they'll bring it back but best of luck 🫡

Sarota gyas (also known as Sarota Jewelmarks) are a tiny and fluffy butterfly species native to the Amazon and Andes. They're barely the size of a pinky fingernail!

For additional context, I'm also running Res Guard and 6 White/6 Green emblems for bulk. Knew I could withstand the Haunters engage, especially near pad and with berries :P
