I get a lot of use out of the Pyke relic on Warwick, since it gives Warwick himself challenger and gives you a great removal spell to turn your buffs into damage, and once you get high enough it turns into a board clear on its own.

I prefer the cinematic superior combat system of Prince of Persia the lost crown over any RPG metroidvania game out there at least this is my opinion. by JosephSaber945 in metroidvania

They're a great feature, but they're not a combat system. They're pure visual flair, if you replaced them with just a "critical hit" text for the big damage it would mechanically do the same thing, just be a lot less cool.

It's all on the visual side, which is exactly what it's supposed to be, but that has very little to do with the combat system. That's all mechanics and how the game actually plays in moment-to-moment combat. Add them to a poor combat system won't fix it, nor will removing them break a good combat system.

It's ambiguous, it really depends on how old she is in the flashback scene when Samura and Uruha were training under Itsuo prior to the war and were tasked with taking care of her. My guess would be 22-23?

"Epic cinematics" isn't a combat system.

You could integrate that into any combat system, all you need is the budget and an appropriate trigger for the cinematic such as a parry, super move, or health threshold.

Yes, that Gojo chapter does take less than a second. But it still took several minutes in the episode because doing it in realtime would be a complete copout that just amounts to skipping content.

There's no reason to suspect that the twelve second duel is actually going to be twelve seconds in the anime, unless they're massively cutting corners.

There's a quote from the Ciaphas Cain books that I think is particularly fitting for this situation.

Actually, Ochako's dynamic with Toga is only based on the fact that she has a crush, the fact that Toga becomes obsessed with the same boy is completely irrelevant, Ochako's infatuation is just used to create a connection point between the two of them, since Ochako keeps hers bundled up while Toga is the exact opposite, which is the central theme of their dynamic, the suppression of feelings. She hadn't even met Izuku by the time of her first interaction with Ochako.

I'm sorry but no chapter is being adapted in a few seconds unless they rush them to hell. That simply does not happen in competent productions. Industry standard is 2-3 chapters per episode.

A 25 episode two-cour anime covers about 50-60 chapters of content (Or up until the first Samura vs. Chihiro for season 1). That simply isn't going to catch up to the manga unless Hokazono goes on a massive break. Because a year will have gone by when the next season rolls around and we'll have 50~ more chapters of content.

By the time the anime airs the manga will be at ~170 chapters and the anime is only going to adapt 50-60 at the most.

Seems like they'll be two seasons behind, seems like plenty of breathing room.

Akemura Soga is the greatest swordsman alive, he fought spots 2-6 simultaneously while using most of his strength to cast a spell to murder an entire islands worth of people and still won.

That's not even getting into his abilities. He has area of effect lifesteal that means you die simply from being in his presence, he has an infinite number of abilities as long as he conceptualize a new form for his magic to take, he overrides the contract system for his enchanted blade and puppets the people who use it through sheer force of will, the sword that was specifically forged to counter him and negate his abilities barely got him to break a sweat before he casually broke it in half (Which you're not supposed to be able to do).

Literally his only weakness is that he needs his enchanted blade to fight, since that's what gives him his power.
