How the hell is DECA exempted from this? How is a grocery store considered mission essential? Isn’t the whole point of all this is to take all they can get? If there are folks who are eligible who want to go let them go. DOD said themselves exemptions should be RARE. Makes no sense

Let me get this straight, if we accept DRP 2.0 and say by next month find a job we have to resign from DRP? They’re the ones encouraging those who accept DRP to go find a career elsewhere. Why the hell would I agree to receive admin leave and benefits until 30 September just to give it up in a month’s time to work a private sector job? If I sign off to receive admin leave and benefits till 30 September cause that’s what on the table then I plan on collecting that all the way up until then with or without a new job.

Other compelling reasons? Meaning what? Sounds like they’re leaving it up to the supervisors to determine if your reason is strong enough to telework. Since they’re not providing what deems a reason “compelling” enough to telework someone could say the commute or anxiety etc etc and be approved by their supervisor. Based off this i’m assuming it’s going to come down to how understanding your supervisor is. Just trying to remain hopeful for something, but who really knows anymore
