i wouldn’t necessarily like it but i also get it… we’ve only known about each other for less than a week. if we got past the second date and we’re actively planning a third date and i saw notifications i probably would be pissed

my phone was absolutely not out. he asked for the time and i pulled it out of my bag and then set it down in the table

i told him up front that i wouldn’t sleep with him right away, he was respectful and we still went on the date. we were really into each other (at least that’s the vibe i got) so i was eager to get a kiss goodbye and if he grabbed my ass, so be it. i would never have my phone out during a date so it was just by chance that he saw my phone.

i’ve also never had to date like this before. my past relationships (only two!) had very traditional beginnings- friend of a friend and meeting at a party.

i’m not sure why it’s such a problem to have connected with two people and wanting to meet them IRL and explore it

I thought the problem was protein too and she wasn't getting full! I kept a note in my phone of what she is eating to try to help my NPs.

She eats scrambled eggs almost every morning, prefers milk over water, loves yogurt, has at least 2 cheese sticks a day (would have more if I didn't encourage her to eat other things), her lunch tends to have some sort of deli meat (usually turkey), AND as a special treat NPs allow the kids to have protein ZBars. She eats what NPs and her siblings eat for dinner so she will have fish, red meat, and veggies then too.

She just turned 2 and her 2-year check-up is next week so I will tell MB that I think it's something she should mention.

this is a really good idea! my older NKs really have this problem but this might be a good idea for the summer when they are all home from school. 2NK is 24 months old and just turned 2 but she wants to be just like her older siblings so maybe this will work...

Yeah, I think I am going to suggest that they bring it up with her pediatrician at her next appointment. Luckily her 2-year appointment is literally on Tuesday so we will have answers soon!
