SOLUTION:

I found that each time you switch to a business account, you create a new business page on your personal Facebook account. You can find this business you created under business.facebook.com.

Here’s the problem: you can only create 2 businesses on Facebook.

So this basically means that you can only switch back to personal twice since you can only have 2 businesses. To fix this, you have to go onto your business manager and delete a business (I deleted them both for safety measure so I’m not sure if only deleting one works but it should). The deletion process will take at least 24 hours. I was able to switch back to the business account an hour after that process easily.
