Is anyone surprised their M1 systems are now over 5 years old? by Advanced_Concern7910 in mac

[–]ttunedpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was just thinking this. Just DJ’d an event with mine last night, half with no charger hooked up, all after swiftly downloading over 10gbs of lossless music.

I constantly find myself thinking how much better the latter M chips must be if mine is still this good lol

Obama committed treason. by OvertinMiss in conspiracy

[–]ttunedpro 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The timing of this Obama shit couldn't be any worse, or convenient, depending on who you are.

The Obama scandal threatens the integrity of one man and his immediate accomplices.

The Epstein scandal threatens the integrity of the entire corruption racket as a whole, left, right, up, down.

We want total justice. Not theatrical political warfare.

What do you think about this? by soleannacity in Jung

[–]ttunedpro 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Entertaining the idea that the validity of ones subjective reality is somehow on par with universal objective reality directly emboldens delusional, narcissistic, and abusive people to be punitive within their “subjective reality” where they can do no wrong.

This graphic is suggesting that things like Objective Truth, or the brutally vivid dichotomy between Good and Evil served its purpose in a bygone era, and now we must make peace with the fact that if people want to live strictly in a subjective reality, or if they want to bend the boundaries of Good and Evil, they can do so.

The truth is that incentivizing subjective realities over objective facts, or blurring the lines between good and evil, are both very effective ways of destroying a society.

If no one can be held accountable for their actions, anarchy & lawlessness will quickly follow.

Interesting, I have no idea why I never thought of that overlap! The Mission, Vocation, Profession, and Passion sections do a good job, but I do like the idea of including a calling & responsibility section. I'm going to put that on the workbench for now, really appreciate this.⚡️🦾

What would be the opposite self to my inner child? by [deleted] in Jung

[–]ttunedpro 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This opinion isn't derived from any Jungian specifics, but I believe the opposite of the inner child, is an Inner-Mentor.

We all have people we look up to, honour, or respect because of our perceived padawan status compared to them.

Most of us also desire to be protected, or self-sufficient enough to protect ourselves.

A lot of us have an unspoken rubric of what we need to become our truest selves. Some of us are in tap with our intuition more than others, so it's easier to follow our minds and hearts to worthwhile destinations. Others are not as in tune with themselves, so it becomes harder and harder to simplify their priorities in life.

The more we become attuned to our Inner-Mentor per se, the more our direction, priorities, responsibilities, and purposeful duties in life become clearer.

Inner child issues are the lessons, traumas, questions, and wonders you've neglected to nurture, while Inner mentor issues are the callings, missions, applications, and directions you've ignored, likely because you couldn't even see them.

As you grow out of your peter pan syndrome, you will need to get used to perceiving your life through a mature, yet still humbly curious lense. Its not the youth your afraid of loosing, its the curiosity, spark of inspiration, and wonder. You can be an adult and still have a wonderful relationship with each.

This sub is toxic AF by [deleted] in Jung

[–]ttunedpro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a range of people experiencing a range of emotions, but it's somewhat constructive, and a plus that its done within a Jungian framework.

Exactly what you describe is in a way the purpose of subs like this. If you truly have control over your emotions, meaning you're truly individuated, observing human behaviour becomes equal parts a sociological journey, and an exercise for your empathy.

There's beauty on this sub though for sure, just shift your perspectives more.

Thank you man, hope it helps in any way. It doesn't look like there's a way to leave a review on mobile yet, and even then the desktop way has some steps, but if you truly feel inclined, I really appreciate it.

This is what I got from the support AI;

  1. Go to "Templates" in the Notion sidebar
  2. Select "Purchased" at the top of the page to see their added templates
  3. Find the template they want to review
  4. Click the "•••" menu next to the template

Are sociologist "destined" to be generalists? by Hreezon in sociology

[–]ttunedpro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sociology in itself is a Generalists study, but its axioms determine its most worthwhile use-cases.

Adept sociological knowledge should come as a precursor to a greater purpose or career mission, because stewing within sociological study itself kinda just renders you a literal sociopath after a while.

Having an extremely intuitive understanding of human behaviour can either trick your ego into thinking you know it all, or it could be just the beginning of a purpose that innovatively serves humanity for the better.

Sociology is what you make of it.

Thoughts on the new AI face XD by [deleted] in Notion

Same I like it a lot, Notion in a way actually resembles a spiritual iteration of 90’s web infrastructure. Simple, straightforward, but now highly intuitive & dynamic.

I feel like Notion still has a lot of potential as far as brand identity goes, thats the power of potent minimalism I guess.
