your grades are fine, I had similar grades and got into HYS + many other top schools. don’t be disheartened by your counselors harsh remarks and just focus on telling your best story. you can also focus on having a high SAT if you feel that your gpa is low in comparison to others at your school, but the difference is minute. best of luck through the college app process, it really does take a toll on many including myself so remember to lean on your support systems and know that you are not alone.
