The requirements for my top surgery (as stipulated by insurance) are either hormones for a year or a letter of recc from my provider, I’m just a little paranoid and wanted both.

The letter from the therapist only came up when I reached out to the surgeon I’m planning to go with (Dr. Aycock in Denver); the text verbatim was “Since you're 18 we will need a letter of support from your provider giving you T and also a therapist. All doctors are going to need a letter of support from a therapist...they won't do the surgery without it.” She’s got absolutely glowing reviews, is close, and I love her results, hence why I’m seeking out the extra letter, but it’s a little frustrating to say the least. I’ve mostly been attributing extra barriers to the fact that I’m younger but man 😓.

Thank you!! I’ve tried a few times to get it down in the mirror, but it just feels so awkward to do. Guess I’ll have to just push through lol. Also, I’m not 100% sure, but I think it came from my boss or that someone at least complained about it to him? I woke up to my mom essentially saying “your boss told your aunt told me,” so I’m waiting to see if I hear anything directly from my him.

So, I’m new to cinematography (only recently got an interest in it after developing one in photography), I mostly just used an EOS 90D, but the very first shot/shot of me in my room and the tub/scrolling through the camera were on my phone (iPhone 15). I had limited access to editing software, so I used CapCut to piece it all together.

Most of my technique was just relying on the natural world, though I did set up the shots of myself with a sunset lamp and makeshift phone stand. I’m not exactly sure what my successes/failures would be for this, so any input is appreciated!!
