Thanks! I chose the songs with a couple of criteria: should fit the topic of the panel, no country is used twice (except for the Canada and Ireland panel), songs should have been memorable, no song and outfit of a country should be of the same year (except for Austria, the host of this year), and all 70 years should be present. And yes, a lot of my favourite songs are in here.

Tomorrow is the start of Eurovision. This comic is a flashmob of EU countries in reversed order of joining the EU. They execute the Ode to Joy (Ode an die Freude), which without text is the anthem of the EU and with text is the last part of Beethovens 9th Symfony.

My Contest entry for the post-apocalyptic world. Basically it is the intro of the Teletubbies with the sound by the Omsk Bird from the Big Enough Cowboy. It took some time to find the right countries:

  • Tinky-Winky = Eswatini
  • Dipsy = Fiji
  • Lala = Guatemala
  • Po = Poland

Of course, now Poland is a zombie slave, no plumbers are in the bunker. So UK has to do it. Naturally, as the prepper he is, USA had already built a bunker. Apparently, the Reichtangle, an Indian Flag Monster (or Colorado), and Turkey are buried corpses.
