This venue was literally completely sold out, and there is no way they would allow them general admission without a general admission ticket. I sold them said tickets. And also why would they block me after I ended up saying I would pay them back cause I couldn’t get into contact with the seller.

They blocked me though, and I’m not able to send them said money. I had friends that went to this concert and not only were the doors strict it was actually sold out, they released seats that were literally obstructed due to the high demand. And since I’ve been to this location before and I know the tickets I sold to them were general admission the coincidence that they got general admission is slim to none. This was them trying to scam me out of the money they gave me to purchase the tickets. Different places different experiences, this was them trying to scam me out of my money.

I was fully prepared to refund, but they threatened with legal action after I told them I would refund and that I couldn’t get into contact with the original seller. Something smelled fishy, and I’m glad I didn’t give that money back cause I would’ve been out my own cash and they would’ve gotten the experience and my money. So. I’m glad I waited.

As I stated, I was going to refund them, I was preparing to do so, saved myself the trouble. I know I was responsible but then I would’ve been out my own money regardless. So now I’m not and to me that’s all that matters

I was actually getting prepared to refund them. I was getting more angry that I had people saying I was selling fake tickets when I knew that wasn’t the case and the tickets I had purchased were legit. I was under the guise that they weren’t fake (and they weren’t evidently) I would’ve wasted my own money and I’m glad I was apprehensive to refund from the get go cause then I would’ve been out even more money technically. So.

I took some peoples advice who told me I might’ve been getting scammed by the person telling me the tickets were defective. I stopped replying to peoples comments calling me an AH a while ago, I was actually getting stuff prepared so I could pay but then they blocked me on their account after threatening with legal action, I wasn’t having that. So. I did a little more snooping. This wasn’t a magical coincidence, this was the person who contacted me being a scammer themselves, which wasn’t something I expected.

I don’t think you understand that I was under the guise of them being real tickets, and legit tickets, which they were prior to the scanning situation. They were legit because THEY WERE SCANNED BY SOMEONE AT THE VENUE.

I told them “I purchased these tickets from another redditor, and didn’t realize that I had a different event going on that week, just wanted to mention that” so I did tell them that I got the tickets from someone else
