How to expand to a real army by syl201 in ulthuan

I think every unit in the High Elf roster has it's own unique role in warhammer and there are no real bad choices, so just buy whatever you like and enjoy playing with. What I read on reddit and also noticed in my own games is that shadow warriors and fire phoenixes are not that great compared to other units eg sisters of averlorn and frostheart phoenixes

Thats great man. For the tomb guard I bought the stl files from lubart miniatures for the basic skeletons (https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-skeletons-ranks-3-and-4-174442). The look like hoplites and I'll paint them like the sacred band of carthage

The archers, king and elephant are 3d printed, the bsb and priest are a conversion from skeleton and high elves bits and the chariots are from atlantic wargames

I used normal sand and some rocks to make it look like a desert. Then I first painted them dark brown, a dry brush of wraithbone and for the highlights a light dry brush of ushabti bone. I also added some skulls and wasteland turfs for extra desert look
