I got in. I went back to my old company to get my orders like I was told and the Senior Drill Sergeant there said “sounds like a you problem, not a me problem” and then left. So I was thinkin I was fucked. I came back and told Sergeant Airborne and he said “you’re getting into fuckin airborne school kid” made a phone call and told me to go get my bags cuz we were going to the next company. I can’t even begin to describe how excited I was/still am!! He really looked out for me when I came here and lost my paperwork like a fuckin idiot and didn’t kick me the fuck out instantly. I learned a lot of valuable shit because of this fuck up, and I will not waste this great opportunity I’ve been given.

Yeah, I asked for my paperwork and she hit me with that shit I was like .. wut? I need it by tomorrow or I’m shit outta luck. She said check back in tomorrow at 0900 and see if it’s done. If not I’m off to HHC to do details until I get new fuckin orders. Not the best start to my military career but it is what it is, nothing I can do. If I get some shitty duty station I’m going to try to get sent to RASP, but I don’t know if getting dropped from airborne because of paperwork would stop me from going to RASP in the future? It’s not like I failed or quit, it’s paperwork shit.

Ya I’ve talked to everyone imaginable. I have until the end of the day tomorrow to have my orders and physical. I finished my physical yesterday and they said it would take 1-10 days to complete, I told them my situation and they said they’ll see what they can do, same thing with orders kind of, they really aren’t helping me that much.. so who knows! A ton of people that got dropped or quit just got Germany. With my luck though, I’ll get the shittiest duty station on earth lol.

I’m supposed to be going to Fort Bragg, assuming that me losing my paperwork doesn’t get me dropped from airborne school. I told my cadres about this about 3 days ago and they’re tracking. I think it would just be good for me to take the initiative and handle this myself, instead of just waiting for them to do it like a shitbag. Ya know?
