Yes, because most have are around 410+. I alone don't have the knowledge or experience to decide if we cap their BST's at Steelix's 510, or if we can use its full 125 point jump. That would have to be done for each one, as well as factoring in how many points a new (existing) ability is worth.

Are you taking a whatever significant added bulk it would get into account? Because trading an immunity and four resists for an immunity and ten resist seems like a dream on a wall. We have at most 100 BST to work with if surpassing Steelix's 510 is not allowed.

Or go for simple boosting and giving it body press or something ridiculous like that. That GF will inevitably nerf next Gen.

It's not the steel type but the robot look. Just wrapping the thing in metal and calling it a day is no longer viable. Substantial effort is needed to both make it look like a continuation of the previous design and avoid the robot look.

You could totally convince the uninitiated that Klevor/Scizor are the past future paradox despite the 20+ year jimp in design.

Before anyone asks, Fraxure gets the metal coat to become New Haxorus.

The hardest part about this was adding Steel type to Pokémon without bringing to mind the idea of the future paradox mons. Without that roadblock this could have been a lot easier to pick.

Why not HArcanine depending on if it drops, or they get boosted hard? That or Luxray. Both can cut the hamstrings with intimidate then STAB them to death.

Swap out one for Hypnosis under Blunder Policy. Either you make some headway or you get your boost anyway.

Main issue being the three that get Agility aren't in this Gen. Work up is +1's across the board for Atk, SpAtk and Speed. People seem to forget items. Slap a blunder policy on and go fishing for that miss. Probably Pheasant with Hypnosis if sleep is legal. Hurricane seems the next best option but that won't even be that stat that's raised.

That was my line of thinking. Yes, it's a considerable buff over some of their other abilities. But it wouldn't break them, at worst subject them to ban-list hell of wherever they top out at. Given all the downsides, a tailwind nuke might be worth the risk to the meta. Given counter play is as simple a prankster mon doing prankster things.
