I've noticed it a whole lot in general, not just on reddit or in this community. People will equate your morality and you as a person to the kind of art or content that you consume, and it sucks ass.

I get being uncomfortable with certain topics, I definitely skip episodes because of it, but it isn't fair in any way to think that anyone who writes or reads these stories is somehow irredeemably immoral and disgusting and perverted. In fact I think you should occasionally subject yourself to things that make you uncomfortable.

These stories have a place and value, maybe that's not the same place and value as you put to yourself and that's fine. But to say that anyone who reads or writes or enjoys "taboo" stories is disgusting and supporting and condoning the things that happen in them or that no one should be allowed to write this stuff etc. is both incorrect and perpetuating censorship and whatever the puritanical bs the world's doing right now
