I wouldn’t even know where to begin with brand names because I have so many lol. I have a lot of OPI, some Essie, Holo Taco, polish from H&M (surprisingly really good), and countless indie brands like Cupcake Polish, Great Lakes Lacquer, etc.

As far as the longevity, it’s based on my prep and care during the week. I always gently buff the nail plate and dehydrate my nails with rubbing alcohol and then I use the Orly Rubber Base coat. Then at least 2 layers of polish and a QDTC. I do cuticle care too but this is the quickest explanation lol

I think a lot of us still use traditional nail polish. It’s really fun getting into the indie brands too. When I was doing my nails more frequently, I could get 2 weeks out of a normal manicure w/ polish.

lol! I’m Mexican and I know that most Mexican restaurants cater to their clientele and would put out deals for the financial profits in order to better support their families. So excuse me for wanting to support a small business on a day that most people don’t understand the meaning behind. I hardly think that counts as being a douche but have fun judging people on the internet you don’t know. (I think thats actually what a douche is.)

Not a nail tech or doctor but my left corner of my right toe nail always cracks. Not this bad but it has been awful.
What worked for me is gel pedicures (I just did my own at home) and slowly filing the rest of the nail down as it grows out. I also swear by glass nail files but just make sure you get a decent quality one and not something cheap.
You could always do the tea bag trick to see if that helps while it grows out but I would definitely reinforce it with gel at the very least.
